This is the beginning of my journey. I came into this world on Friday May 13, 1988 in Concord, Massachusetts.

In High School I met and was inspired by my English teacher Mr. Spaulding. He was a wonderful teacher who was passionate, engaging, and just all around a cool guy.

On this day my step dad passed away. This day was a turning point in my life. I realized how precious life is and that nothing should be taken for granted. This was a time where I set big goals to make my mom proud and to help her in the future.

Umass Lowell bound. My freshman year I thought I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue in a career, but I was wrong. I began college as a health major but quickly realized that it was not for me. I switched my major from Health to English.

For three years I volunteered for my town and coached a girls soccer team for a 10 and under league. It was fascinating watching the girls grow and learn. This opportunity is when I realized the age group that I wanted to work with. (2006-2009)

This professor really helped me throughout college. She was/is a spitfire, is brilliant, and one of the strongest women I have met. Jeannie gave me confidence in my work and helped me to stay focused and motivated. She is what I want to be as an educator.

I ended my college career as a "super senior" I ended my courses in Dec 2010 and walked at graduation in May 2011

I took three years off from school working as a waitress when I finally became motivated to start my career. I got a job at the Lighthouse School as a teacher assistant and planted my roots.

In 2014, I enrolled in the dual certification program at Rivier University to continue my professional development
