    In the picture, you can see an ambulance parked on a street getting loaded. The first thing you can see is the nurse holding a stretcher that looks like it is two wooden poles with canvas. The next thing that pops out in the picture is the uneven brick road. Then you can also see the ambulance, first there is no real good place to put the stretcher, then also you can see other bodies in the ambulance as well. What do you think this picture tells you about the medical field in the 1900s?

    In the picture, there is a room with a lot of shelving and bottles on the shelving. Along with the shelving there is cabinets with counters. On the shelves are pill bottles and liquid bottles. Whereas the counters have papers, science equipment, and other miscellaneous things. I came to the conclusion that the shelving was the storage or the medical that was made and also storage for the ingredients to make more. Then the countertop, the countertop would be used for making the medicine.

    In the picture you can see Nurses sitting around a table. The nurses are wearing white gowns with white face masks. On the table, it is what looks like rags and more face masks. Next to the table, there is also a cart with more of the same things on it. As part of the table there are wooden chairs that are the spindle back and leg type of chair. Now, from that picture I concluded that the 1900s gear was defiantly not sanitary. What conclusions did you draw on our own

    In the newspaper, pictures in the timeline, there is an article that is titled, “Inoculate now, Urges Dr. Leary,” it is referring to the pandemic of 1918. After the title there is a subtitle of, “Says use of serum will help stop Influenza,” shows the article is about the vaccine to stop the influenza pandemic of 1918. Then the article goes on a pro vaccine speech with a lot of reasoning and convincing arguments. That is that the whole article in about in the newspaper excerpt.
