Over the Years

  • Andrew the twinkie

    Andrew the twinkie

We were in Wildwood, New Jersey. I loved going on rides and the adrenaline rush of spinning in circles and the wind in my hair. On the boardwalk, I stomped my feet and gave Andrew the puppy dog look. He didn't want to go because he thought it wasn't going to be fun. Then he finally agreed to go on with me and we had so much fun; we were laughing the whole time. And when he put his arm around me I felt so safe and loved which meant the world to me. I had my big brother by my side.
  • Savanna's christening

    Savanna's christening

This was my little sister Savanna's christening. I had this black and white dress on, I was feeling myself.. As we were rising, I was saying to myself , "Yes I'm so excited this is my favorite part". As soon as I saw people I got all nervous and started to bite my fingers. I did not like having hundreds of little eyeballs staring at me even though I knew everyone was there for my little sister. I was just so still so shocked and amazed that we came out of the floor. Like how cool is that!
  • Grandpa pickups

    Grandpa pickups

When both of my parents were working in White plains my grandpa would always come to pick me up from school. I would always take a chair and sit by the window and wait for him to come inside and get me. When I saw his car pulling in I jumped out of my seat and I couldn't wait to give him a big hug. I've always been super close with my grandpa. Him and I always had the best time and we did everything together. And we all know that I'm his favorite grandchild.
  • Cousin David

    Cousin David

This is cousin David. This is a very rare photo of David and I getting along when we were younger. David and I always had it out for each other. I hated him, I thought he was the rudest person ever. But we did have our moments that were genuinely good. One thing I've valuably learned from david is to not care about what other people think and to have fun. From this day on we've grown to be best friends and actually like each other.
  • Brother + Trampoline = Bad News

Brother + Trampoline = Bad News

I was 7 and my brother was 14. We were playing a game to see who could jump the highest. It was my turn and he wouldn't get off. As I jumped up he jumped at the same time. We both went up and I went flying. We landed at the same time and... crack. I knew instantly my ankle was broken. The next day I scooted my way through the whole house because I didn't know how to use my crutches. Till this day my brother and I still argue about whose fault it was and we have many laughs over it.

    3rd grade talent show

This day is the day I really put myself out there. My neighbors and I who are like brothers to me did the 3rd grade talent show together. We had our moms help us practice everyday after school. We did the gangnam style dance but with our little twist. I was always so shy and nervous but I was the only girl so I was running the whole show. When we were on stage we were incredible.
  • First Skiing adventure

    First Skiing adventure

My friend Sofia and I went to Jiminy Peak to go skiing and we've never been before. As soon as we tried to move even a leg we fell right on our faces. After a while we got the hang of it and thought we could go to the top. But boy were we wrong. Before I knew it, we both went down together; flipped and fell. I had snow in my face in my snow pants. I was shivering. I thought I broke my ankle. I was being so over dramatic. And then we just laid there for about a good 25 minutes before going down.
  • After work: Stranger Talks

    After work: Stranger Talks

It was a long busy day at work and these random 20 year old girls came up to us and started talking about careers, the attitude to have, and also how to be successful. I learned so much from this day. This girl was finishing law school and she was so inspiring. Telling us to follow our dreams and to go after what you love and that it may seem hard but just to go after what you want because it will be worth it in the end. Ever since that day I always try my hardest and listen to her advice.
  • Hungarian Cookies

    Hungarian Cookies

My nana is Hungarian and she made these cookies. I first thought to myself, "These cookies look nasty what is on the inside." She told me not to judge them and try it. I looked at them funny and just took a bite. I was completely satisfied. These were the best cookies I've ever had. I couldn't believe how good they were. I wanted all my work friends to try them. I decided to share the type of food that I eat and show them how it's different from theirs. I wanted them to try something different.
  • A joke? Meeting Joe Gatto?

    A joke? Meeting Joe Gatto?

It was a regular Thursday evening in the summer. I was folding napkins and all of a sudden all my co-workers said to me do you know who that is outside. I was so confused. I went to the window and looked outside and it was Joe Gatto. I was like what! what! what! He got seated outside and he was surprisingly sitting in my section! I was ecstatic. I went to the table and got drinks. He ordered a ginger ale. And I didn't want to be this person and annoy him but I had to get a picture with him.
  • Una Sorpresa

    Una Sorpresa

It was the day before my sweet sixteen and I was just planning on going to take pictures at Sofia's restaurant before me and her went out. But that was all a lie. They surprised me with my family being there and I got to see all my work friends. It was an incredible night and i'm just so grateful to have such great family friends who see me as another daughter to them. I admire them so much and I'm happy to have amazing people like them in my life.
  • Quitupan, Mexico. Matando un Caballo

    Quitupan, Mexico. Matando un Caballo

It was 9:00 am and I woke up the sound of horses naying. When my amiga sofia and I heard that we jumped out of bed put our boots on and went outside. Her dad got the horses for us to ride. I was speechless and nervous. But since I have never been on one I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity. So I hopped on and I was holding on for dear life. Then we started walking into town and I thought I was going to fall off because the roads were uneven. While I was on the horse I saw amazing views.
