    Journey to the States
When my grandma was a newborn, she was put into an orphanage. They named her, Angie. Once, my grandmother was an adult, she became a house servant. She had to take care of the guests, the children, and the men. Even though she was a servant, she was more like a slave with pivileges. Eventually, she met a man named Ray. They fall in love within months of meeting eachother. About after a year of dating they got married and pregnant. They wanted their baby to be born in the US.

He comes to the U.S and moves in with his friends. Then he finds a job doing landscaping. And he starts sending money to his family, but then he decides to bring them to America too. So he saves up money, and flies them to San Francisco. The family settles for land in Napa, and still keeps the land in the Phillipines.

My parents came from two parts of Asia and met in the U.S. They fell in love and decided immigrate to the U.S with the rest of the family. My family flew to the U.S and did not come by boat. They wed in reno and settled down in a small town in California called American Canyon. My father worked as a baker in SanFransisco, but that didnt last long because we were looking for our own location for a bakery. So now we live the "American Dream", we own a business and we own a house.
