    Nigel's Life

I was born on July 7, 2005 at 11:00 pm in Chicago, Illinois. My mom has always told me I was a heavy baby when I was born. This is probably the reason why I enjoy eating so much.
  • My first time eating tamales

When I was younger my Mom would take me to my favorite tamale restaurant to go eat some tamales. We would go almost every day if we weren’t busy and just get the tastiest and juiciest tamales to start the day off. I would say that this is probably how I got my taste in Mexican food and as to why It is my favorite type of food to this day and why I love hispanic culture.
  • I started going to kindergarten

There was one thing that I could remember from kindergarten and it was that I was an artist. I would draw so much that I would use my pencils until they were little. I would have teachers complimenting me with my drawings and would even sign them because they would think I would be a famous artist one day.
  • My first fight

I was at recess back in Chicago and my friends wanted to play some sort of cop game. I was not in the mood to play any games but one of my friends kept bothering me. I just said to myself that I have had enough and just hit him. From this day I still regret what I did since all my friend wanted to do was just hangout.
  • I cut open my toe

There was a garage sale going on outside my nana’s house and I was just fooling around and all of a sudden I saw a stack of bricks with a stack of wood on top and I had this genius idea of climbing it. Whenever I started climbing it the whole thing started shaking, then I eventually started tumbling down with the pile of bricks and wood falling on top of me. My Mom had saw the blood running down my fingers and me just screaming holding the top of my toe down because of how much it hurt.
  • I started Junior year

I started my junior year forgetting which classes I have as always. I saw a couple new faces since people went virtual last year. I met some new teachers this year.
