  • Lewis and Clark

    Lewis and Clark have ventured out in search for information about the geography in the west and becoming allies with the native americans . On their way, or on their expedition, they passed Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. It's sort of hard to believe they came from Missouri and ventured all the way to states like Oregon and Washington. On their way they reached their goal of becoming allies with Native Americans.

    Becoming allies with the native americans not only helped their journey, they got perks to like food. You may be wondering what happened to the other goal, finding geography. The answer is all around you. If you live in the west, imagine yourself and others that you might not have been here, plus you imagine a map without the west on it.
  • Trail of Tears

    The Trail of Tears is now a trail, but you may be asking yourself "Why is the trail called Trail of Tears?" Well, tears is supposing to how native americans were treated when they got forced to move from the south to Oklahoma. As for the trail part of the name, it is supposing to where they walked from the southern states to OK.
  • Gold Rush

    In 1849 something amazing happened in California. California, to our knowledge, is one of the warmest places you can move, we thought the only thing you could do there was sit on a beach chair and get a tan. Oh boy, we where wrong. In the mid 1849s, gold was discovered by a man of the name of James Marshall. After this discovery he told a man, be he said to keep it a secret. That did not happen. Not 1,000 not , 10,000, 300,000 people came to make their share of there soon to be paper.
