    These were a series of battles fought primarily between Italy and France. It resulted in a French victory. This would begin the success Napoleon would uphold.

    This was a disastrous event with defeat. However, Napoleon still managed to keep the stories disclosed and kept his praise in France.
  • Consulate (Green)

    Consulate (Green)
    Napoleon developed a new governing board. This overthrew the previous directory, making the consulate bring more power to Napoleon.
  • Banque de France (Green)

    Banque de France (Green)
    Napoleon had enforced the creation of Banque de France. It was a positive impact as it strengthened and recovered France’s economy.
  • Concordat of 1801 (Green)

    Concordat of 1801 (Green)
    This was an agreement signed in both Rome and Paris. This would end the strict church reforms enforced during the French Revolution. This would be a positive impact in France.

    This would be where Napoleon named himself as the “Consul for Life.” This would begin a new image in legislation. As well as, making him uphold more power.

    This established equality within in men. However, it limited the laws of women and children which does not enforce equality. This would made it both a negative and a positive.

    This would be the event where Napoleon crowned himself as the self emperor. This would be monumental and remembered. However, it presented him with much arrogance, which could be an extreme negative.

    This would be a downfall because the British had taken victory. This would destroy the plans of Napoleon wanting to invade England.
  • Abolished Holy Roman Empire (Green)

    The Holy Roman Empire had vanished after over a thousand years. This would end the weak empire and weak power. It would begin strength within France.
  • Continental System (Red)

    Due to the invasion, Napoleon went for Britain’s commerce. This closed the European ports to British goods. Then, this would lead to Britain creating a blockade. This would shut down all ports, eliminating trade. This would be an extreme negative because it created a decrease in goods.

    Since Spain did not agree with Napoleons reforms, France went for an intense repression. However, this would lead to Spanish patriots conducting hit-and-run attacks. This lead to French soldiers losing much of their strength.

    This would be a disastrous invasion. It consisted of much death, especially due to the winter weather. All in all, it would become a battle for survival.
  • Battle of Nations at Leipzig (Red)

    Austria, Prussia, Russia, and Britain had created an alliance and had defeated France. This would creat much loss for Napoleon.
  • Abdication (Red)

    He would be forced to step down from power. He would be exiled to Elba and soon later Louis XVIII would step into throne. This would end the success of Napoleon Bonaparte.
  • Hundred Days (Red)

    This would represent Napoleon’s return from exile and the restoration of King Louis XVIII. In other words, the War of the Seventh Coalition.
  • Waterloo (Red)

    Waterloo (Red)
    This would be a dreadful, day-long battle in Belgium. Following this, Napoleon would be forced to abdicate and exile to St. Helena. However, he would never return.
