My Memorable(not really though) Summer

  • Period: to

    Summer 2k14

Summer happened. Woo, never forget. Summer, teen life, friendship, so rad.
  • Surgery, holla

    Surgery, holla
Surgery that I've been not-so-patiently waiting for finally takes place at about ten in the morning. After about a three year wait, it's happening! So, naturally, healing up takes up my whole summer, and then some.
  • pretty much dead after surgery

    pretty much dead after surgery
Got out of surgery, which took about an hour and a half longer than the estimated five(I think?) hours.
I looked like I got into a fight, so, naturally, the first thing I had to do was take a selfie and share this glorious moment of my life with the world.
The picture really portrays how I was obviously looking better than I ever had.
  • More selfies, this time not in some disgusting hospital gown.

More selfies, this time not in some disgusting hospital gown.
The night after surgery went on for what seemed like forever. Honestly the longest night of my life. There was so much regret. I needed a nurse to help me walk to the bathroom, which was probably a maximum of four to five feet away from where I was laying, so I wouldn't fall over and hurt myself. It was just awful.
Getting home meant selfies galore, so I went a little bit crazy with them. This is probably the only one that doesn't make me either look like I was hating my life or about to die.
  • Nose cast off!

    Nose cast off!
The cast that had been put on my nose to protect it from getting bumped/swelling too much "fell" off(with the help of me poking at it almost all the time).
It was, like, six in the morning. And I was wide awake. I think that shows how messed up my sleeping schedule already was.
  • Stitches out, yeeeah.

    Stitches out, yeeeah.
I had an appointment with the plastic surgeon later that day and got my stitches out, which was terrifying. I thought my face was going to fall apart or something, until I was told that I was healing faster than he thought I would.
Which meant I could finally do things.
    Like go to the beach.
  • Sister moves back!

    Sister moves back!
My sister came home since she's finished with college and wanted to make money and not have to pay for an apartment and all that stuff you start having to pay for once you leave college and become an official adult.
She brought two cats, so we now have four.
  • Bruises have faded, yaaas.

I don't know when I realized that they were all gone, but, by June 21st, all the bruises had faded and I looked like a normal person again. I could finally go out in public without looking like I'd been mugged recently.
  • Saw a trailer for the Giver.

Saw a trailer for the Giver.
I have a Smart TV, which means I can use it to browse YouTube. Something that was trending was an actual, totally legitimate trailer for the Giver.
I didn't realize how late I was until I made a Facebook status about it and found out that it was something that a lot of people had known for a while now.
Thx 4 keepin me updated on the latest movies, fri3ndz.
  • Beach, h0lla

    Beach, h0lla
First and last time I went to the beach all summer. I somehow managed to not get a sunburn, but I didn't get the slightest tan. So it wasn't really that great, since I was still so pale that I could probably pass as a vampire, if people believed in them.
  • Finishing summer art stuff.

Not any panic attacks or having to both start and finish my summer pieces, but I had to do some touching up and stuff, since they looked incomplete.
  • School, ew.

    School, ew.
I went to the wrong classes multiple times and I pretty much just felt like a stereotypical Freshman that wanders the halls aimlessly because they have no idea where to go.
