Television (2004-Present)
From my 13-year-old Sony TV to my Samsung 22 inch tv, and finally my 32 inch Sony Smart TV, it could be said that I grew up watching TV at an early age. It used to be my favourite past time from watching Animax, Animal Planet, and Abs Cbn, these shows epitomize my childhood and influenced me greatly today. Although with the advent of internet and pc I seldom watch television, the act of watching anime, documentaries and news is still relevant to me it's just that a newer media took TV's place. -
My very 1st book (Warriors: Into the Wild)
"A tinge of nostalgia from lessons learnt" is what I would say to describe my experience. This book gave me my love of reading and knowledge of terms and vocabulary. It inspired me to imagine what the texts depict and I genuinely fell in love with the book. I received this book on my 4th birthday according to my mom since I was too young to remember the dates. This marked my journey into the world of reading, imagination, and information of one of the most traditional medias in history, a book. -
DS, PS2, Gameboy Advanced (2006-2009)
These forms of entertainment that provide me joy when playing have also influenced me in my life. The values and characters imparted to me by the games I have played have lead me to try and become like the said hero in games. -
Newspaper Reading (2006-Present)
Well as kids growing up, I think that we have all experienced reading a newspaper. In my early years, I used to read the newspaper every afternoon at 3 pm with my dad as a past time. Through this, I was updated with the news and loved reading the editorial cartoons with my father. This act of reading newspapers. though today I quite seldom do, helped me in knowing the importance of news and media information as well as being aware of society. -
Advent of social media
October 30th, 2009 marked the day that I made my account on Facebook for the very first time. My aim was to play and chat with my friends at the tender age of 9. With no knowledge of social media, I embarked on my journey through the modern day media and the most popular the so-called "social media". Through the years, I grew more capable of utlizing, and evaluating social media websites and have grasped the use of information to my purpose which has greatly benefitted myself in my daily life. -
Smartphone a helping hand in modern times (2013-present)
In today's age aside from computers, another device has greatly influenced humankind because of its handiness, function and portability, that device is a smartphone. My 1st and 2nd smartphones were all of the Samsung brand and they have greatly helped in my searches and studies in school as well as a form of communication to people I need. It is without doubt that smartphones are a helping hand and something that we bring with us everyday for information and communication. -
Laptop to Custom Gaming Computer (2013-2017)
I received my first laptop back in 2013 and it was one of the electronic devices I spent the most time on. From editing videos and photos, to making powerpoints, and reading information from websites, this is an all around and best tool for media and technology use. It is a vital part of my student life and what I use every day in order to study and do assignments. Today, I now have a high-end pc in exchange for my laptop which provides me with info and power in editing better than before.
