    My brother was born in Chicago, Illinois. This event was life changing because I was no longer the only child.
  • My first trip to Disney World.

    My first trip to Disney World.
    This was my first trip on a plane. We went to Disney World for my 5th birthday.
  • First time moving schools

    This was the year that I moved elementary schools. It was a big life changing event because I met many new friends and was in a more religious environment since it was a catholic school. It led me to doing my first communion.
  • My first time at six flags.

    This was my first time at Sixflags and it changed my life because I took a risk. I learned how to become more outgoing.
  • My first swim class.

    This was my first ever swim class that I took. Swimming has made a huge difference in my life. Because of this swim class, I began to love the sport.
  • My first cruise vacation to Bahamas.

    This was the first cruise ship vacation I went on. I was able to meet new people, and I'm still friends with many of them today. It impacted my life.

    In fourth grade I moved to the elementary school that I graduated from. This is a important event of my life because it is where I met many of my close friends.
  • Joining Orchestra.

    I joined the orchestra program from my elementary school. It introduced me to the instrument I still play today which is the viola. Playing my instrument and being a part of this program has given me numerous of opportunities that I am very grateful for.

    In 6th grade I auditioned for a really advanced orchestra. I got accepted and we went on tour to Philadelphia to perform. This completely changed my life because I learned many new musical skills and started to become more independent.

    Me and my friends decided to do the talent show. This experience helped me gain more self confidence.
  • Quartet Trip to North Carolina

    In 7th grade my quartet was selected to go to North Carolina to play with El Sistema. This trip helped me develop independence skills, met many people from around the world and it impacted my life because it was a new fun experience to travel with my friends.

    Graduation was a important event in my life. It represented all of my hard work from elementary school.

    The first day of high school changed my life completely. I met new friends that are a big part of my life today, I learned how to take the bus alone to school, I learned skills that helped me become more social and independent.

    This was an important event in my life because I experienced something new. I played with a very famous organization and I met many new people from all around the world.

    COVID-19 was by far the biggest event that changed my life because it completely changed my way of learning and affected my mental health significantly. Schools shut down, I lost many friends, and discovered my true self.

    This was a very important life event for me because it was the day I got my car which is something that I use everyday and it helped me become more independent and outgoing.

    This was a life changing event because I met new people and had a new experienced. Being a part of the swim team has become something very important to me and it became part of my personality. I love the sport.

    The first day of Junior year I was in person for the first time after two years. It was a weird experience because it was a long long time before that we spent on the computer and being behind the screen.

    This event was very important because I made sectional times and had a new experience considering it was the first swim sectional while being in the COVID-19 pandemic.
