My parents wanted me to learn about my background ,culture and language so, they decided that it would be best for us to move back to Egypt. My parents feared that living in the U.S will make me adjust to social roles and will forget about my culture and religion

I went to an English International school. It was the trajectory of the rest of my life. The school brought English teachers from U.S.A, Canada, The UK and Australia. My parents wanted me to be fluent in the language so if I wanted to go back to the U.S.A, I would be able to do so.

The school started to go down hill so, my parents decided that it would be best to go to another school.

A Major life event occurred . The whole country was in distress. A revolution broke out, I lived in Cairo so I was in the heart of the revolution. I saw people carrying weapons like firearms, swords and batons. Tanks were passing by my house and destroy the streets. It was finally met with victory to the revolution and removal of the dictator.

Me, my mom and my brother immigrated to Canada to get a better education in a safe environment. We transitioned from having almost everything we want to having nothing and starting from the bottom in a new country alone.

I started my grade 8 year at Dalewood in St. Catharines.

We moved to Waterloo because my brother went to UW so we all moved to Waterloo and I went to a school called Bluevale.

Me and My mom moved back to St Catherines as she has a job here. So, I am back at Eden
