This day was significant because it marked the beginning of my life; this was the day that I was born. This meant that I was now brought into the world and I would be facing the challenges and benefits of life.

This day was significant because I got my first dog. It also meant that there would be a lot of responsibility that comes along with it. This day marked the beginning of a few life lessons I would end up learning throughout the next few years.

This was the first time that I have moved. I used to live in Markham but when I was four I moved to Richmond Hill. This meant that I would be living closer to my family members and I would be living in a new town.

This was the day that I learnt to swim for the first time. Because of this day I am able to swim which was something that I needed to know because in the summer I am at my cottage a lot. I also think that the skill of being able to swim is important for safety reasons. This was also a way for me to become independent because you can't depend on anyone else when it comes to swimming.

This was the first trip I went on that involved staying over night with my school friends. It was also the first time that I had used a compass and was sent out to find my way around. This trip was a lot of fun and the memories will always stay with me.

At the end of grade eight, I recieved an award for getting on honour roll. It was also the last day of elementary school. This day marked an ending for me because I had spent my whole elementary time at that school (from kindgergarten to grade eight). This day also marked a beginning as I would be furthering my education at a new school with new people.

The first day of grade nine was significant for me because it marked a new beginning. I had choosen to transfer from my original high school to come here to go to school with new people, This was a way for me to start new. This day also meant that I was growing up because I had finished elementary and was starting secondary school. This also marked a day that meant I was growing up and getting older.

This is the day that my first baby first cousin was born. He was born two days before my 16th birthday which made my birthday more exciting and means that I will be sharing my birthday month with him. It's also significant because my family had been waiting for a new baby to come into the family, so this was a very significant day for both me and my family.

This concert was the first concert I have ever been to. It is also the first time I have ever seen one of my favourite bands live. This day was one that I had been wishing for because the band means a lot to me, so having the oppourtunity made it one of the best days of my life.
