This is the my timeline of my life so far and my planning of my future. -
my born
I was born in April 23rd, 1997. My 16th birthday is coming. -
my mother
My mother was the most important person in my whole life. I don't live with my father for about 8 years. My mother takes care of me and my sisiter. She is a really hard working, kind, patient, tender, and smart woman. She gave me a lot of big effects. -
piano learning
I started piano learning when I was in day care. That was a really important thing in my life. I was changing through the learning, such as steedy, hard working, and patient. I learned how to express your mood through the music, and how to understand why the musician wrote that song. I still learn the piano now, -
first day of elementary school
I was so excitied to go to elementary school and start my study life. Since that year, I started to connect more kinds of people, learn more knowledge and make more friends. That was a big change to me. -
my sister's born
This is a first big transition of my life. Since I had a little sister, I started to learn how to take care of others because I became a elder sister. -
move to Xiamen
Before I was in Grade 4, I lived in my hometown which is called Nanping, Fujian. But in the summer of Grade 3, I moved to a new city, it is called Xiamen. -
the first school in the new school
I transfered to a new school in Xiamen when I was Grade 4. It was a big challenge to me that I should be trying to involve into a new environment and new class when I was that young. But I think I did a very good job. -
my math teacher in Elementary school
My math teacher in my elementary school had given me a really big influence. He said the education in China is wrong, study is not marks or homework, you have to think and speak out what you think when you are studying. He also said, for your own future, you have to do what you like to do and suppose to do. -
my first article on magazine
I like writing, my dream is to be a writter or editor though those are not for me. My first article on magazine was impressed to me. I was really excited and happy to make more people to read my words. -
up to middle school
In China, we have 6 years for elemantary school, 3 years for middle school, and 3 years for high school. I really loved my middle school. It was a big, old and beautiful school, and the teahers and students were really kind and friendly. And also, the lessons were getting harder. -
my Chinese teacher in middle school
My Chinese teacher in Grade 7 is another teacher that effected me so much. She was a patien and good teacher. She knew how to teach and how to study. She taught me a lot of good ways to study. Also, she helped me find my own way to study well. -
move to Canada
My father wanted to give me better education and better environment to live, so he decided to send me to Canada. I was really interested in the new life in a new country. I was in Grade 8. -
go to high school
To come to a new country, the most difficult thing is the different language. I was in a huge trouble with my English, especially in high school. In high shcool, we have harder work than in elementary school. I had to work on my lessons, and also my English. I had to pay double time on my school works, -
future planning
I was choosing my courses for the next year. I talked to my parents a lot about my future, and I had decided the way I am going. Before that, I didn't know what I am going to do in the future. -
volunteer in a Chinese school
I am doing volunteering in a Chinese school this year. Every Wednesday evening, I go to Trudeau High School to do as a teachasist to help the teacher. -
graduate from high school
I will say good bye to Markville Secondary School this day. -
go to University of Toronto
The University of Toronto was my dream since I was young in China. I want to have my university life in this famous, beautiful and old school. -
work options
Here are some of my thinking of my future career. I may become an accountant, manager or actuary. I am planning to do commerce program in university. An English teacher is also a good choice because a lot of teacher helped me with my English when I just came to Canada, I also want to help others. And maybe, I will do writter, that was my childhood dream. -
finish the university and go for the master degree
I am planning to earn the master degree in University of Toronto after the regular university lessons. -
graduate from university
I am planning to get my master degree in two years, but it may take longer. -
BACK TO CHINA!!!!!
All my planning in Canada is only for one purpose: go back to China. The same day as today that I am doing this timeline in 8 years later, I hope I am in China. And then, I will have my own family and business in China. -
my thinking
My dream from my childhood is to be a writter or a magazine editor. I love Japanese animations, and I also like to write down my thinking when I finish wathcing an animation or write stories on magazine. I want to do that as my career but I know that is not for me. So before I start my real business, I hope I can do a writter or an editor just for one year, just achieve my dream.
