I was born in 1980. My father picked my name. He named me after his mother: Carmen.
My mother picked my middle name, Lourdes, because I was born on the 18th of February, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. -
I became a big sister when I was 5 years old. My brother was born on December 19th 1985. At the beginning we didn't get along (I was jealous of him, he was the new prince!), but soon we became best friends.
He moved to the US three years ago, and I miss him a lot. -
The day I lost my grandma was very sad for everyone in my family. She was 91 years old.
We were very close, she was like a second mother to me. I miss her greatly. -
I remember the day I graduated from Law School. It felt very proud. I took me 6 years. Law School is the hardest thing I've done in my life!

I got my first job as a lawyer after a long search. But it was worth the wait. I still work for the same law firm. I love my job but I work long hours.

I met my husband in Law School. Were were assigned a project together and we hit it off from the start. He proposed one evening on the beach, at sunset. We got married in the same church where my grandma got married, and I wore her veil.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was very scared. Everything was so new and I was afraid of many things (like working out), because I thought I was going to hurt the baby.
Luckily everything worked out fine and I had a healthy baby boy on September 5th 2010.
