I went into a house I had never been into before and saw 4 teenagers I hadn’t met before. 8 Years later, who would’ve known they were to be one of the closest people we have met? -
A Christmas present from my parents was on the ground with my sister and I surrounding it. As we opened the gift, it was a Wii U and a Wii, our first ever gaming console we had our hands on. The excitement and joy surging through me made me so happy that it was a moment to remember for a long time. -
One time a few years ago, I was playing with my toy cars on the ground and out of curiosity, I had stopped to see what my dad was looking at on the TV. It was an NBA game. It looked so fun that I had to try it out and then years came by and now I play basketball a lot! -
We had decided to go to the Philippines last year for my Grandpa’s birthday in March for a month . Then, because of Covid-19, we stayed there for more than 2 months. It was a good thing because we were able to finish movies, and spend time together. -
My sister and I stumbled upon “The Promised Neverland” , an anime we found on Netflix. People said it was really good and by the looks of the picture it seemed very wholesome so we watched it. But my sister and I were very wrong. In the first episode it was horrifying and then it showed something else which scared my sister and I. It is a very good anime to watch but be careful, it may give nightmares like what it did to me. -
During our stay in the Philippines, we were able to finish Harry Potter, one of my most favourite franchises of all time. Then, when we came back to Canada, I had started reading the Harry Potter series and compared the books and the movies. -
Out of scrolling on Netflix, I stumbled upon Naruto and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I obviously watched Naruto because it seemed more interesting and watching the first episode got me watching more and more anime. -
When it was the start of Grade 6, my mom had promised that after quarter one in-person, I would go online. And so the 1st quarter had passed and I went online for the first time. There were so many people there who I didn’t know (some I did) and yet in the end of Grade 6, the people who I didn’t know became my closest friends I have ever encountered. -
Grade 6 was probably my best year of school. I met the best teacher and met my best friends! But obviously, we had to say bye. It was such a good year that my friends and I still talk about it today but now it’s in the past so we have to move on. -
My latest birthdays were (in my opinion) the best I had had in a while. I had 2 birthday parties with a group of different people! We did many things like playing games, hanging out, and just chilling in my basement. It was a really good time!
