  • Grade 9

    Grade 9
I just started grade nine. Another year closer to being able to drive! I have homework already though...oh well. I have Ceramics, Social Studies, Eniglish and P.E. I think that grade nine has changed me because it makes me feel a little more independant.

  • Social's Class Trip

    Social's Class Trip
We went to a Native heritage site and learned all about how the Native used to live. It really made me appreciate what we have now. Like being able to call someone on a cellphone, or going to the store to by food and having heating in our homes. The Natives had to rely on the land and the animals just to be able to eat. It definately made me appreciate everything I have.
  • Slow Walking

    Slow Walking
Samantha taought me how to walk slowly to class. I tend to speed walk a bit and she taought me to slow down...like she was telling me to slow down and enjoy life a little more. Live in the NOW and not inTOMORRW.
  • Debate!

    Debate!
We are learning how to have debates in English class! I have learned so much from it. I didn't know that there were so many points to cover in an arguement. It has helped me learn how to gather more information before having to present things.
  • French Filming

    French Filming
I had to borrow a camera from Mr.Duff! Thank you again! And the play went great! I was the narrator! I learned how to memorize French lines! It has taught me organization and memorization.
  • Dance Revue

    Dance Revue
We had our dance revue for this year. I was in 6 dances and 2 of them were ballet. It is my 8th year dancing. I started when I was seven and I have never stopped since. I love performing for everyone and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment. It has changed my life and showed me the freedom and joy of dance and all the emotion you can put into dance.
  • Water Balloon Fight!

    Water Balloon Fight!
We had a water balloon fight in French class! Our teacher bought us an icecream cake and we went outside and started chucking balloons at each other. It made me realize how tolerant and nice teachers can be.
  • Fifteen!

    Fifteen!
It was my 15th birthday today! I'm officially 15. We also had a family reunion on that day. We had fresh crab and buttered shrimp for dinner and then for dessert we had icecream with chocolate syrup and fresh raspberries and blackberries. The next day we went swimming in the river and then went raspberries picking for my grandpa. I was so happy to be able to get together with my family and enjoy my time with them.
  • Granville Island

    Granville Island
I got to go to a dance summer school workshop with my mother. She was dancing there for a week...I wasn't old enough to dance but I got to watch and learn more about dance. When I wasn't watching, I walked around, being a tourist. I went to Rogers Chocolates, an art shop, the Broom Co., and a large indoor market. I also went to a soap shop and bought some more souveneirs for my family. I took lots of pictures as well. I felt very trustworthy and independant.
  • My Brother's Birthday

    My Brother's Birthday
For my brother's birthday we went camping at Horsefly, and it rained almost the whole time! But we stuck around in our tents, or huddled under our tarp over the table. It was just a family thing, and it was great because I got to hear stories about my parents when they went camping as kids. I got to learn a little bit more about them and I am grateful for that.
  • Fishing in the New Boats!

    Fishing in the New Boats!
My parents went down to Abbostford and brought back some new boats! They are a kayak/sailboat/pedal boat! How AWSOME! We got blue, red, and yellow boats. They come with rod holders, tackle holders, a place to put your paddle and even more. After that we went fishing out at Keno Lake for 3 hours and caught nine fish! It was a great family activity and I got to do one of my favourite things too!
  • Grade 10

    Grade 10
And here I am back at school writing this timeline for you Mr.Duff! I am very happy to see all my friends again and being able to get another year closer to driving! I can't wait to finish this because my finger is hurting because you said I could only write with one finger and it's really hard! So, now you know more about my past year! I hope that this year will be full of more life changing experiences.
