August was the first month of school. It was in this month that I was placed in the percussion section of band and developed my passion for percussion and music. This helped shape me by giving me a passion, something I love to do.

This was the date my favorite movie was released.

It was on this day I would receive my instruction permit that would legally let me drive. It was also on this day I could start my love of driving. This shaped me because it expanded my love of cars and also helped lead me into my future and into adulthood as it's a new responsibility.
