My mother was 19 and my father was 22. I was born at 3:00 pm, at Northern Westchester Hospital. I was my parents first child. My mother had a c-section. My mother was really scared because I was her first child and she was so young when she had me. I weighed 6lbs and 14oz. My parents were scared but very happy to have me in this world.

I took my first steps 2 days before my first birthday, like every other baby I was having trouble walking alone. My parents would always have to be right behind me to make sure I wouldnt fall back and hurt my head. I went about 2 months needing my parents help. But then i started to walk alone around 14 months.

Angely Mariela Reyes Cruz has been my best friend since the day she was born. I am 3 years older then her, making me her big cousin. Angely and I grew up together. we were both raised as a only child so we thought of each other as sisters and not cousins. Ive always been her role model, so I try and be the best I can be and set good examples for her.

My dad had always had the dream of starting his own business/restaurant. So him and his brother decided to become business partners and buy a small restaurant in Somers.This restaurant gave me the opportunity to start working at a young age and learn the value of money. Our family operated restaurant has been such a success. It has become one of Somers best restaurants.

When my mom first told me she was pregnant I didnt believe her because ive been alone my whole life. And to be honest I didnt take it very well when I was told that my mom was going to have another baby. I was really up set that I wasnt going to be the center of attention. And I was 15 at the time and now that I look back at it I was being selfish and really self centered.

In a hispanic household traditionally girls turning 15 are supposed to have big parties to celebrate women hood. My Quincenera almost got cancelled because of a tornado. My venue lost power and they didt know if they would get the power back in time. So we switched venues and we continued my party. The day of my quince was the best day of my life. I was treated like a princess. I had my nails and make-up done and I even got a very luxurious limo.

The summer of 2018 my family decided to take one last vacation as a family of 3 to Miami Florida. My mom was 7 months pregnant and she didnt want to fly so we drove to Florida. My dad invited my uncle and his kids. So we rented a big suv and drove 22 hours to get to Florida. The best part about that trip was staying at a 5 stare hotel. The hotel was incredible we stayed in a suite so big that we didnt have enough people to sleep in all the beds.

On October 1, 2018 my baby sister was born. Before I met JJ I didnt like her very much because of the fact that she was going to be the center of attention. But the moment I held her in my arms every thing changed. I started to cry because I couldent believe that I had a baby sister. She is my whole world and I lover to death. I thank god everyday for giving me her because she is truly my biggest blessing.

One day I decided that it was time to look for my real first job away from my dad. And I saw that my local bakery was hiring, so I decided to go in one day and apply. So i applied and then they called me asking for a interview, and of course I said yes. I got up really early the next morning to go in for my interview and it went really well because I started working that same day.

The day I got my license I felt so grown up. I remembered I was so excited to get my license that I made my road test really early so I could have time to drive alone the rest of the day. I felt with so much freedom. That same night I bought a 300 dollar wallet so I could put my license in it.
