My Life Timeline

  • Baby me

    Baby me

I was born on February 5, 2003. Ever since I was born my mother has told me that I was all laugh and giggles. I believe that's where most of my personality began appearing.
  • Bones shall break

    Bones shall break

When I was in 3rd grade I broke my left arm. I felt weak and vulnerable, like I couldn't do what other kids my age were doing. Even though I had a cast I think it made me stronger as a person and helped me overcome many obstacles. It made me more brave and I felt that I could overcome anything.
  • Oh no a tick!

    Oh no a tick!

When I was 5 years old I was bit by a tick at a local park. I was later diagnosed with Lyme Disease. It causes complications in joint, heart, and the nervous system.I took multiple liquid medication that later turned into pills. My knees would swell up and cause pain and I was tired all the time. I had Lyme for 7 years and then when I was 12 I stopped taking medication because I was cured and no longer had symptoms.
  • My furry friend

October of 2016 I got a dog. We decided on naming her Bailey because it means beautiful and a heart of gold. I love Bailey with my entire heart and to this day she is still my best friend and I cherish her with all of my heart. She has been by my side when I was crying to when I was happy. Even though she can be crazy most of the time by eating rabbits to running around the house, My entire family and I love her uncontrollably.
  • Long time no see

    Long time no see

When I was little I was always close to my godmother, me and her were like 2 peas in a pod. She unfortunately moved to Florida and I haven't seen her for 8 years until we went to go visit her in Florida. It was a great experience because I've missed her so much and I've got to see such cool things. She is such a big inspiration to me and she is a huge person in my life. I've been to Florida a few time after that and I'm deciding if I should go to college in Florida.
  • Giving back

    Giving back

My mom was born and raised in Honduras. She came here to have a better life. I enjoy visiting going to Honduras to visit my family and see the culture. There are many children there who don't have clothing or a home. I try my best to help them by giving them clothing and shoes that I owned that were never used or barely used. In the future I would like to go and build homes for those in need and supply children with essentials. I enjoy helping others and making their day better.
  • Goodbyes arent forever

    Goodbyes arent forever

The one who has stuck by me from birth was leaving me for college 6 hours away. She was graduating high school and I was graduating middle school. Her leaving meant it was only going to be at home. It was lonely for a while but I enjoyed not having to share my snacks with anyone since I was basically the only child. She has taught me a lot and gave me advice for going into High School. Even though she left for college she always returns for winter break or spring break and I enjoy seeing her.
  • My Quinceanera

    My Quinceanera

On June 6th I had my Quinceanera. In some cultures its when a girl is celebrating her 15th birthday and her passage from childhood to adulthood. It was a big milestone for me because I felt more incharge and more freedom. My dad changes my shoes from flat shoes to heels to represent becoming a women. It was a night to remember since all my friends and family were there and all having a good time.
  • Hot Wheels

    Hot Wheels

As soon as I turned 16 I was extremely excited to get my permit. Learning to drive was fun but also scary. I was excited to start driving because it meant more freedom and I no longer had to ask my parents to drive me around. It also means a lot of responsibility because you always need to be aware and cautious on the road so that you don't get into an accident. All that I need to do now is get my license and i'll be on my way to work, school, and having fun with friends.
  • A new family

    A new family

My Junior year of high school I decided to do Cheerleading. It was the best decision I have ever made. I met new friends and joined a family. Everyone was so nice and sweet and I discovered a skill I didn't know I could do. Cheer has shown me responsibility, friendship, commitment, determination, and motivation. I enjoy cheering at football games and competing against other schools at cheer competitions. These girls are my family and I have the utmost respect for every single one of them.
