First day of school
When we finally got settled my dad got me and my sisters enrolled in a public school called Fitch and that was the first social institution I had offerd to me in Canada. On the first day I walked in with a cohort of fellow classmates that where new to ESL and that helped me feel welcome. -
Leaving Fitch elementary school
After grade 7 I had learned most of my English and I knew how to read and write in English, meaning that I couldn't attend Fitch anymore and that changed my life events for the rest of my life. -
Coming to DSBN Academy
After the summer of 2011 my friend Lydia told me about this school and I was quite interested. After meeting Mr.Reynolds I was hooked to coming there but my parents wanted me to go to Eastdale, this was the first role conflict I encountered. I eventually convinced them to allow me to go to the academy, Thankfully they did. -
Graduation
After spending a year at DSBN Acadmey i realized that i made a great choice coming there. When graduation came around I was very happy with everyone there, but not a lot of people wanted to stay there because they were worried about there social status. -
First day of high school
On the first day of high school I was really excited for my classes but I didn't realize all the work that I had to do and that kinda followed to my first role set of ether doing my homework or playing games. -
End of grade 9
At the end of grade nine I had a lot of roles to accomplish and I learned to do what is more important to do first and do what I do for fun after -
Prom
When prom comes around I don think ill be going because the social norm form how my parents grew up is different from here and they dont do proms there so I dont think ill be going
