  • Booboo got me to the hospital

Booboo got me to the hospital

I was 4 years old and I was at my aunt's house with my parents and we were having a party. While I was walking around in my pretty dress, I ended up crawling up the stairs and accidentally stepped on my dress which launched my head forward. I hit my chin on the stairs and cried so my parents rushed over and saw I was had a deep cut. They rushed to the hospital and got 4 stitches. Ever time my mom tells me this story she always says it was the hardest thing she has been through.
  • My first performance

    My first performance

My grandparents had planned to make a dance routine for a party and asked me if I wanted to join. I was told on the day of the performance that I was suppose to dance around the dancers but I got confused with the direction so when it came to performing, I only went around my grandparents instead of the whole group. They all looked so confused and I was being told I was doing it wrong. Even as a young kid I was so embarrassed and cried later because of my mistake.
  • My first dog

    My first dog

I remember always asking for a dog when I was a kid and on my 7th birthday I finally got one. Me and my dad were in Ecuador. and my great grandpa told me we were going out so i went in the car with him. It was a long trip but when we got there I saw many puppies and dogs in cages and leashes. I walked around and saw a small dog underneath a big dog in a small cage. I felt bad for her so I asked for that dog and that was the first and last gift my great grandpa had given me.
  • I ate the bread

    I ate the bread

I was at a wedding and we were in the church sitting on the benches. It was time for the priest to give us the bread and wine of christ. I went up to get my blessing but the priest gave me bread instead. I had not done my communion yet so I didn't know what to do. I ended up eating it and started crying because I thought my mom would get mad.Everytime they replay the wedding video, I always left the room incase my mom would see what happened. Thinking back I can't help but laugh.
  • Didn't get in the Art Program

Didn't get in the Art Program

I started 5th grade and the teacher was presenting the morning programs that were available and one of them being a creative art program. I was so excited and eager to join it since I had started drawing as a hobby. We were to make specific drawing, put it in a portfolio and turn it in. Only a certain amount of kids were allowed to join but I was confident that I'd join. I submitted my portfolio but a week or so later I was sadly rejected. I was sad and upset but I continued drawing.
  • Went to the deep end

    Went to the deep end

Me and my family went to the Dominican Republic and one day we went to the beach. I was swimming with my dad and we started going farther and farther into the ocean. I was scared because of the shark warnings my mom had told me about yet I continued following him. I swam behind him and I couldn't feel the ground anymore. We ended up swimming all the way to the barrier line and I was struggled to keeping my head up. I was able to swim back and I was happy I survived.
  • Great Grandpa past away

    Great Grandpa past away

It was June and my great grandpa past away in his sleep. I got the news first thing in the morning and I remember crying. I thought about the last time I had visited his in Ecuador and how I barely spent time with him thinking I would have more time when I came back the next year. The whole family was mourning the loss and it was even harder since we were able to be there for his funeral.
  • First trip with my cousins

    First trip with my cousins

It was my first time going on a trip to Ecuador for a month and the first time my cousins had ever went to Ecuador to see our family. I remember being so excited for them and for them to unite with the family that they were never able to visit and only able to talk to them through a phone. When we landed to the gate our family was there waiting for us and we all cried and hugged. It was one of the best trips I had ever had and I had so much fun with them.
  • Explored the woods

    Explored the woods

I'm not the type of person to go outside for nothing or enjoy anything that involves the outdoor but one day when I was in Ecuador, my mom forced me to go outside to climb a mountain with her family. I of course didn't want to but I went anyway and we went up hills, crawled under branches, walked through streep paths and it ended with a beautiful view. It was the most fun I had ever had.
  • First time rollerblading

    First time rollerblading

My family all planned on going to a roller rink and it would be the first time being together in a long time. I was so excited because I have never been rollerblading before and I thought it would be fun but I was very wrong. I struggled getting into the rink and had fell so many time that I had bruises. I even started crying because of the frustration and how much I was hurting. In the end I kinda got the hang of it and now it's a funny memory that my family makes fun of me for.
  • A change for me

    A change for me

I've always struggles with myself and kept most of my issues to myself which wasn't healthy. I was also stuck in my own little place that I didn't let anyone near. I realized that I didn't want to continue it and I wanted to change for me. I was hesitant in the beginning being scared of the outcome or where things would go but I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and was able to succeed. I created new relationships, became more confident and I was able to find happiness in the end.
  • Last minute meet

    Last minute meet

Me and my girlfriend had never met in person before and on a trip to Hershey Park, we randomly planned on meeting. It was a last minute decision and I was so nervous to enter the park. She told me where she was and when I saw her, I purposely walked passed because I didn't know what to do. When she came up to us I literally hid behind my mom like a kid barely being able to say hi. We walked around together and went on rides and had fun. We both make fun of how bad it was to this day.
