MY LIFE STORY

  • Birth Day

    Birth Day

I was born in French Guiana in the capital called Cayenne. French Guiana is located on the border of South America. I don't remember much from my place of birth. My parents always speak about it. I have never gone back to my homeland but I dream to at some point go there with my entire family.
  • Move to Paris, France

    Move to Paris, France

At the age of two years, my mother, father, and two sisters all moved from French Guiana to Paris, France. France is all I have known. I considered my home even if I wasn't born there. I lived there from the time I was 2 until I turned 16. I made lifetime friends and have most of my family there. I miss it so much. I mostly missed the food.
  • Asthmatic

    Asthmatic

When I turned 6 years old I had one of the scariest moments of my life. I don't really recall but I assume that I was born with Asthma but when I was 6 I had one of the most severe asthma attacks I have ever had. As I got older I figure out how to control or prevent myself from getting one. At a young age, I did not know how to do it so I had a full-on attack and almost died. I remembered the doctor telling, my parents, that if I had fallen asleep that night I could have died.
  • CHASING THE AMERICAN DREAM

    CHASING THE AMERICAN DREAM

In September 2001 a few days before 911, I moved to Florida with my entire family. I was actually suppose to come on 911 using an American Airline plane coming from East. Thank god I did not. When I arrived, It was a complete culture shock to me. Even though I love France very much the opportunity isn't the same for all. Your skin color in most cases defined where you can live and the different job offers you might get. My dad always knew that America could offer us more so here I am.
  • My Little Family

    My Little Family

My married my great husband after 2 years of dating. We were blessed with a little boy named Dhayton in May 8th of 2015. I remember that at that time I still didn't drive because I had an extreme phobia so I use to ride the bus with my son. One day I woke up and decided that I wanted a better life for him than what I was offering. I put my big girl pants on and got my driver's license. A little bit after I deceived to sign up at Broward College to provide my child with the best possible life.
  • My daughter

    My daughter

On July 3rd of 2018, I was blessed with this awesome daughter of mine. Her name is Dhalya. She is now two years old and sometimes drives me crazy. Even if she makes me crazy I could not see my life without her. She has her own little personality and she put a smile on my face daily. My family is my everything and I do what I can to make them proud and hope that in the future their life would be full. I hope I can give them what I never had.
  • Approve in the Nuclear Medicine Program

Approve in the Nuclear Medicine Program

Nuclear Medicine was not my first option. I wanted to do radiology (X-ray Technician) but somehow did research on Nuclear Med. and realized that the money was better in this particular field. I am so excited about the future and I can wait to be able to complete this program and start my life. Even though this Covid-19 is messing our entire life it is only an obstacle. It might want to take us down but we will rise. I can't wait for our bright future to begin.
