Birth
This was the day i was born. This made me who I am today. Without me being born, I would not have had a personality, nor would I have even existed -
Family
The month of my is when i really started to bond with different family members and friend. They surrounded me with love and care. I think I mostly bonded with my father throught this time because for as long as i remember, I have been attached to him. -
Grandfather Passes
On this day, my grandfather passed away. I was really attached to him for the first year and a half of my life. We were always together. He would always take me for walks through Atlantic Highlands (when we lived there). This affected my life because I do not remember him but I wish he was still alive today. I miss him. -
Preschool
On this day, I started preschool.. This is where I met most of my friends. I even met my best friend in school who I am still friends with today. I learned things in preschool that have helped me in my life, like sharing and respect. This could explain why I am such a generous person. -
Trade Center Attacks
This day, when the Trade Center attacks happened, my life changed. My father is a construction worker in New York City. Luckily, he was off of work that day and was not in the city. For the next year, I only saw my dad at night for a little while and then he had to go back. During this time, I felt very seperated from him. -
First Grade
This day started my first day of actual grammar school. The work actually got graded. This changed my life for the next 12 years because I knew that I was going to have to try harder everyday of my life. -
Broken Bone
In the second grade, I broke my wrist while I was roller blading at a birthday party. Since then, I am affraid to roller blade or ice skate. -
Hunting
In mid october of 2007, I began to hunt with my dad. I got my hunting license in this month. Since then I hunt for deer in the winter and for turkeys in the spring. This changed me because I was introduced into a sport that I am actually good at, so it boosted my self confidence. -
Car Accident
My father was in a tremendous car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. He broke his neck in the accident. His car rolled 8 times, about a mile down the highway. This changed my life because since then, we cannot do something's that we loved doing, like going on roller coasters. This also taught me the value of life because seeing my dad in ICU for two weeks made me thankful that I still have him in my life. -
First Deer
On this day, I successfully harvested my first deer. This was a big milestone for me because since then I have really been hooked to hunting. -
First Job
I got my first job as a deckhand on a fishing boat in Atlantic Highlands. I not only learned the value of a dollar on this day, but I also got introduced into a working industry that I will stay in through college. This changed me because I met a lot of new people and learned about working in the public. -
First Car
On this day, I bought my first car. With all of the money I made in the summer, I bought a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. I really love the truck too because it has leather seats, heated seats, a sun roof, and a DVD player. This changed me because I began to feel more independent about myself because I bought the car with my own money, and I did not ask my parents for any help with the money. -
Drivers License
I got my license on my birthday. It was one of the best birthday presents I recieved that day. I had fear that I was going to fail the road test, but when I passed, it was a sigh of relief for me. This changed me because I now really feel like I have more freedom away from my parents. It makes me feel more like an adult.
