Backpack ids ready. On my way to pre-school. Screamed the first couple of hours when my parents left.

Doing more than babbling. More words said and mum is loving the progress of potty training.

I can read three letter words with assistance.

Can speak three languages, English as the most commonly spoken.

Ready for second year of school. Don't suffer from seperation anxiety when dropped off. if my parents drop me off.

Knowing my shapes and colors.

Sat for my national middle school exam thatwill determine my high school.

Results of the exams are out, and yes I passed and got into one of the best national high schools.

First day of boarding in high school. Very emotional and felt very alone.

Sweet 16 African style. Felt very grown and mature.

My first niece is welcomed to the world. I am an auntie.

Yet another national exam, this time we are competing for the universities in the country.

Officially done with four years of high school boarding and into the real life.

Find out I am pregnant. Very depressed and confused. Told my parents and they were not to happy but supportive.

Daily commute begins for college. Accounting is a ll I wanted to do.

Welcomed my love of my life into the world. It is a boy.

BAck on the road again, changing my career into information technology this time.

My oldest brother enters the whole family into the US green card lottery.

Christmas eve and we are all merry in one room. At the same time sadly talking of my grand father's obvious siymptoms of alzheimers

Another chance in life, I received a letter indicating that I had worn worn a green card. America here I come.

Our long lost mom's brother (my uncle) resurfaces. He is indeed alive.

Having a big last birthday in Africa and also a farwell for me and my son on our way to the US.

We all remember tis day no matter how far we were. All the way in Africa and the emotions were as close to home as ever. Flight cancelled.

After !9 hours of flight, we a re here in the US. Culture shock and American dream are innevitable now.

My boyfriend asks me to marry him.

We welcome our only daughter into the world. Very exciting.

Stay at home mummy. Hardest job in the whole world.

In the midwinter and on our way to the hospital for anohter addition into the family.

First christmas as a complete family. No more children hereafter, we decided.

Daughter tutns a big five. She thinks she can rule the world now.

Younger kids off to school. Had to see them cry but gives me and them a break.

Mummy dusts her bookbag too. Off to college.

Still waiting to get into nursing school.

The othe two children move out. House feels really spacious again.

Very tired and and ill. Daughter taking good care of mommy, just like I did to her.

Done and graduate from nursing school.

My career has advanced and now I got my masters.

Oldest son moves out finally. He is very excited.

Geared for retirement. Ahhh the feeling. Finally get some kind of break from the corporate world.

Age is catcing up and I have so far lived my life to my fullest. WEddings, graduations and grandchildren.

Lost my battle to death. Kids are beside themselves but were glad they weere around when I passed.
