Day I Was Born
Full Name: Sydney Raine A.
Time Born: 5:12p.m.
I spent a month in the NICU at Shands in Gainesville due to complications with my heart and lungs. Also the nurse told my mom that she gave birth to "Dumbo" because I had big ears for a baby.I was an emergency C-section at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida.
It impacted me by beginning my crazy life. -
1st Christmas
For my first Christmas i spent it in a play pen with my aunts puppy, Blondie, and my families puppy, Bailey. Bailey is the dog in the picture and it's when we were a little older.
I didn't understand much about the day except that everyone kept giving me gifts to open and I was smiling and happy.
It impacted my life by me spending time with all my family for the first time. -
Lost 1st Tooth
My tooth was loose for awhile and I would play with it because I was excited to lose my first tooth. While i was wiggling the tooth one day it just came out and I was just really happy.
This impacted my life by me starting to get older and lose teeth so new one could replace them. -
1st Time Flying in an Airplane
Since my stepdad works with airplanes I wanted to learn about them. I used to go with him to work and help with anything I could help with. Then one day he asked if I wanted to go flying so I said yes. I was very excited about it. It was alot of fun that day.
This impacted my life by me being able to get to know my stepdad better. -
Girl Scouts
I started girl scouts because I had friends in it and I wanted to be able to hang out with them so I joined. It was a lot of fun and I earned quite a few badges in it. Also it helped me learn some early life skill that could help me later on in life.
This impacted my life because it helped me make friends and learn some life skills that could help me later on in life. -
My Best Birthday
This was my best birthday because I got a kitten. I was really happy about this because I was wanting a kitten for along time. I named her Ninjy and I was excited to play with her because I just really love cats. She ended up having 6 kittens on Valentine's Day, but we couldn't keep them so I gave them to friends.
This impacted my life by making me happy because I finally had a pet kitten. I still have her today and I love her so much. -
1st Baseball Game
I didn't know much about baseball even though I used to watch it on t.v. whenever it was on with my family. Then one time while i was visiting my stepdad's mom he decided to take me to a Tiger's game. It was fun because I got to spend more time with my family.
This impacted my life by letting me spend more time with my family. ALso it let me see how much I actually kinda liked sports. -
Day I Became a Big Sister
This was an important day for me for a few reasos. First of all I had alot more responsibility to take on once Carleigh was born. Second, I would finally have someone to play with and keep me company. I was excited about her being born because I was so tired of being an only child and having nobody to play with.
This impacted my life by giving me something to watch grow up and help with as Carleigh gets older because I refuse to let her make the same mistakes I did as I got older. -
Day I Picked Up Sheep
This was a very exciting day for me because I didn't know what to do with a sheep. When we got to the place that had all the sheep it was kinda hectic because there were sheep running around all over the place. Out off all the sheep there was Violet and her sister. I wanted both so much, but I was only able to get one so i got Violet and took her back to the school farm.
This impacted my life by letting me be able to take care of something. Also it helped me learn new responsibilities. -
1st Time I Showed Violet
The first time I showed Violet I was really nervous, but also very excited because I din'y know what was going to happen. I remember I had to wear official show dress and that I had two chances to show unless I get called back for the final round of my class. I didn't do so well the first time. but the second time I came in second place and then missed the final round.
This impacted my life by letting me see that I had a new hobby that I liked alot even though it was alot of responsibility. -
Day I Picked up Sunny
This was an interesting day for a few reasons. First we did not have a trailer so she had to ride in the back of our van with me. Second she would not stop moving around in the van the whole way home. Lastly we had to make a few stops along the way home to let her out so she could use the bathroom and people would just stare at us like we were weird.
This impacted my life by giving me more responsinility since I would have to take care of Sunny. -
Day my Nana Passed Away
This was a very emotional day for me because I was the one who found my nana the way she was. I didn't know how to feel about it and my mom said that I looked emotionless for a few weeks because I just couldn't belive what happned. My nana was always the person that kept me moving on.
This impacted my life by completely changing who I am. After she passed away i moved to Michigan and had to restart my life and I have never been the same Sydney ever since. -
Day I Moved to Michigan
After a long drive from Florida I went to a friends farm to drop off Sunny and Violet. Then I went to my grandma's house because that was where I was going to living until we moved again. I unpacked some of my stuff and tried to think about everything that's going to happen.
This impacted me by starting my new life because I would have to go to a new school and get used to everything in Michigan. -
My New Puppy
His name is Max. He was rescued from a man when he was younger and we rescued him from another family. My mom saw the post on facebook and thought it would be a nice gift for me. So we got Max and as soon as we get home he jusmps out of the car and runs into the woods. We ended up finding him 5 weeks later. I felt terrible because I felt like it was my fault he ran away.
This impacted my life by teaching me the respomsibilities of having a very energetic dog because he is a Border Collie. -
1st Day of School
I was extremely nervous about the first day of high school. Since I didn't have many friends to begin with I was worried that I'd be alone the whole time. Also I felt like I wouldn't fit in anywhere and that I might have some bullying issues since I don;t really fit in anywhere anyway. Somethings have gotten better since it has started though, but not everything is better.
This impacted my life by letting me take more responsibility for myself as I mature throughout high school and after.
