The beginning
This is me. This is me when I was a little kid. My mom said I always loved taking pictures and I was always ready to take one as well. I don't have a baby picture when I was born so this will do. I, Justin Sagastume was born on December 15th, 2002. My parents said I was born at about mid-day but they don't remember the time fully. I can understand due to the fact that they were having a baby. As you can see I was a chubby baby and also very very cute. This is where it all began. -
Funny moment
This picture here, I would say is a funny moment. Everyone in y family loves this picture of me and it just puts you in a good mood. This is funny because of the story of when my mom took the picture. I did say I was always ready to take pictures as a toddler. My mom said that she took out the camera and told me to pose for a picture. So I did what I had to do. Instead of staying in bed and laying down. I stood up and got ready for the picture with my chain on. This is one to remember. -
Failure- Didn't want to take a picture
Like I've said a lot. When I was a toddler I was always ready to take a picture except for this day. I don't remember anything from this day but from what my parents told me, it was definitely a fail. My parents told me it took them about 30 min to take this picture cause I didn't want to stop crying. I was moving around too much and just didn't want to be there. Not only that but while walking inside it didn't help that I tripped on the sidewalk and scraped my knee. This is why this is a fail. -
Success- Played for a baseball team
This might be a little accomplishment today but at the time it was huge. This was the first sport that I started playing. Baseball. I always wanted to play when I was little and I got the chance. This season when I played, I got my first everything that has to do with baseball. I loved playing it. Later on, I had to make a decision on what sport to play once I hit high school and I decided to pick soccer. I don't regret that decision and I never will. -
Moment of struggle
This picture was obviously my older brother's graduation. It was a very happy moment and a good moment of course. The reason why this was a moment of struggle is because of what will be coming from this. My older brother and I are very close. Knowing that he was going to leave and I wasn't going to see him as much sucked. It made me very upset. When the day did come to when he left my family was very sad. The house felt quiet. Sooner or later it got better and now we are used to it. -
Success- Making the varsity team
This was a success because it's the best team in the whole district. I didn't only make the team but I was also a starter that played the whole game. I did get injured and fought that injury throughout the season and it was a struggle but I played through it. I am now very excited about the season that's coming because it should be a good season and we should have a good team. We are a very talented team for my senior year. -
Failure- Failing my drivers license test
This day was not the best. I was coming into this day thinking that it was going to be easy and I was gonna pass this driving test like it was nothing. Oh was I wrong. When I was taking the test I was making dumb little mistakes that I would never make. I let nerves get the best of me. Even with those little mistakes, I was still going to pass till the biggest mistake of them all. I yielded turning right on a red light. Everybody does it but I shouldn't have done it on the road test. -
Success- Getting Drivers License
Getting your driver's license is a huge step in growing up. Many people including me can't or couldn't wait to get it. On the other hand, parents are nervous because their babies are going to be driving by themselves and they can't be there with them in the car all the time now. I was very excited and anxious to get my license because I knew it would make everything easier. Life itself would be easier as well. That's exactly what my license did for me. It made life easier. -
Suprising moment
This might just be a picture of a soccer field for you. To your defense it is but it's what happened on the field that's surprising. This is the Mahopac turf. It was a cold night game and a very close game. I didn't play this game because I was out with an injury. Late in the game a Mahopac player tried to waste time and got pushed to the ground by a Brewster senior. Cause of this incident it started a big brawl between both teams. Punches were thrown. Some people were even bleeding. -
Failure- Lost the last game on varsity in my junior year.
All year long we (the varsity soccer team) were struggling and we were getting upset with each other because we were having a terrible season. The seniors knew that this year was just a rebuilding year and that the following year is what mattered. Even with all that everybody wanted to win the final game. We were going against the best team in our division (Somers). This was a failure because we ended up losing. I also hated this game because I was pulled out of the game 10 min into it.
