  • Trust versus mistrust

    I used to cry when my parents left me with my cousin or my uncle. I always wanted to be with my parents.
  • Secure Attachments

    Secure Attachments
    Mary Ainsworth researched the idea of attachments. Infants with secure attachments feel close to one thing and do not feel comfortable with its absence. I had this attachment with my parents.

    Whenever my parents got me something new I put it in my mouth weather it was disgusting or not, to see what it was.
  • Sensorimotor stage

    At this stage I start to use me senses strictly. My parents use to hide their face with their hands and I did not look for it rather I ignored it because I did not establish object permanence.
  • Autonomy versus shame/doubt

    I wanted to be in control sometimes and not always be in control. Once my mom woke up and I was not next to her. After looking for me, she found me taking my diper of by myself in the toilet, throwing my diper in the dust bin, and washing my hands by myself. I had started going to the toilet myself without my moms help.
  • Anal Stage

    I had tight control over my toilet training. I was quie overlly controlling (renentive) and as a kid I quickly learned to adopt toilet traning and was quick in getting rid of my dipers. I once went the toilet myself without my moms help in the middle of the night.
  • Preoperational

    At this stage I started to say my first few words. I was learning how to use symbols in the real world. My sentence ever was "Where is my dad" (in urdu). At this stage I established a sense of object permanence, and saw everything in my perspective.
  • Phallic Stage

    Phallic Stage
    At this stage I realized that I was a boy and that there were two genders in the world. This made me more close to boys and have friends who were boys. I grew closer to my dad and farther from my mom.
  • Initiative versus guilt

    At this stage I start to question my surroundings. My curiosity leads me to ask questions. I started asking questions related to religion, culture, and anything out of my knowledge.
  • Preconventional

    At this age, I made decsions to avoid punishment. I used to tell myself, "I should study and get a good grade on my test or else my mom will hit me." In this case I am thinking of the consequence.
  • Concrete operations

    During this period I had established logical thinking. My dad once ask me would a 100 grams of iron heavier or a 100 grams of cotton. Before I used to say the iron but then I realized that they are both a 100 grams and that means they would weigh the same.
  • Industry versus inferiority

    Everything I do now I mostly do it in competition. I remember as a boy I always wanted to be the best and always thought about what other people thought. I wanted to get a better grade then my classmates and not too bad because that would mean I would be left out in a bad way.

    At this stage, we are able to see things through other peoples eyes. I was able to know what other people think. I used to think to myself he should get a good grade on his test so that his parents can be proud of him and his friends would be impressed by him.

    At this age a person is able to form a hypothesis and deiscover why things are the way they are. They also might use their imagination to answer questions. I was once asked what would happen if water did not exist and seeing the importance I claimed that life would not exist.

    In this stage, I try moral reasoning meaning that I try to make sense of things and question them. I question many decisions made by my friends. My friends ask me for my homework and I compare my situation and theirs before I give them my homework.

    My body is changing in many ways. My height is rapidly increasing, hair is appearing all over my body, and my voice is deepening.

    Here, a person tries to find what best suits them in terms of style or fitting in. A person might try different styles until he finds the best one. I have a style that I follow in order to fit into school. My style best fits me and everyone has a different style that suits them.
  • High School Graduation

    I graduate from high school.

    Now a person must balance their life style. In university, I have to face the problem how many time should I talk to my parents in a week or even in a day and how many times should I hang out with my friends?

    My wife is an alcoholic who drank during pregnany and my son had this.
  • Generativity versus despair

    At this age we look upon oursleves and our family to see if this life is going the way we want it to go. I want to make sure that my family and I are safe and getting a good education.

    I cannot receive episodic memories.
  • Alzhiemer disease

    Because I am getting old this is affecting my behavior, thinking, and memory.
  • Integrity versus despair

    Towards the end of our lives we look back to see on our accomplishments and if we were satisfied with them or not. I would be satisfied in becoming the President of Pakistan and helping people around the world. I would die on this day by falling of Burj Khalifa.
  • Death

    I would fall off Burj Khalifa and die.
