On April 19, 2003 my sister was born in Robert Wood Johnson as well. She has been my partner in crime even though we may not get along sometimes I love her.

When I was three years old I began my educational journey. It was hard to let go of my mom but going to school has helped me grow as a person.

In 2006, I traveled to Guatemala for the first time in my life. I was able to meet my family for the first time and I bonded with them really quick.

My cousin was 15 when she got pregnant. Her life hasn't been easy and she's my inspiration to do my best so I won't make the same mistakes as her.

When I was 10 my favorite aunt/God mother was deported. She was like my mother, she listened to my problems, and she made sure I always had the support I needed. After she left I wasn't the same person anymore.

Starting school at foundation wasn't easy for me . Some teachers made it impossible but I was able to graduate and move on.

Entering a new environment was a challenge because I didn't know what was expected from me. Certain teachers had different expectations but high school isn't so bad.

When I turned 15 my parents allowed me to travel by myself for the summer. I was able to experience some time without my parents which helped me realize how much a family means to someone.

My mom is so special to me and she means the world to me. This situation helped me realize how much value a mom has.
