Best friend
The year of 2001 marks a very important time in my young childhood. This is when I met my first best friend. He took my swing on the playground and I pulled his hair, so i was forced to sit in "the blue chair" which was a timeout seat, for the rest of recess. Somehow we became friends over that and now, fourteen years later, he is still my best friend, Tito. -
The divorce
My parents got divorced during this time and it is very important because I, (unlike most kids) was not unhappy with the divorce. It was a happy time for my mother and myself because my father had no respect for either of us. This is also the time we stopped having to move everywhere. As a young kid, you would think I wouldn't view this as such a positive experience, but I was always forced to grow up quickly and handle situations maturely. -
New school
Switched from Montessori elementary to Great Expectations Academy which was a much bigger school than what I was used to. At Montessori there was only one class for the whole day, but G.E.A. had three different classes, so that was a huge transition, also because of the larger amount of students. -
First public school
Switched to a real public middle school and met my amazing boyfriend who I have now been dating for 4 years. -
First real relationship
The day Orion asked me out. Very cheesy, but he has impacted my life in ways I can not even explain. -
Big sister
My adorably, obnoxious, little brother that I love unconditionally was born. -
First day of high school
Freshman year in high school. The time in my life when I was naive enough to believe I knew everything about everything. -
3 Year anniversary
Very important because this is when we really became very comfortable with being ourselves and not being worried aboutbeing embarrased because we could joke about our embarassing moments together. We also realized we had fallen four one of our bestfriends, eachother. -
Surgery
My grandfather, who is also at this point, my legal father, went into surgery for his cancer. -
Recovery
Grandpa was finally recovering well. My Christmas box I made for him made him cry. He then however revealed his grumpy, hilarious attitude by stating "this is why I wanted to check into the hospital for Christmas" -
Loss of my friend Cree
This is an important date for me because it is the day I lost my very good friend Cree. He was struggling with drug addiction. One of the hardest time periods I had to undergo. Very hard learning and accepting that he was really gone. Found myself going to text him to hang out and then would remember the awful occurance. Took awhile to sink in.
