My Life: Birth to Present

  • Period: to

    The day I was born.

On July 20th, 2007, at 10:57 PM. A new life was brought into this world. That life was mine.
  • My first time going to France.

My first time going to France.

When I went to France for the first time, I was three years old. We were stuck in the airport for 17 hours because of a snowstorm.
  • My first day of School.

My first day of preschool was in 2011. I was super nervous because I have never been in a class with other kids before.
  • My first day of Elementary School.

My first day of Elementary School.

This time, I knew what school was like. I was actually pretty excited to be in the same school as my older sister.
  • Moving to Illinois.

    Moving to Illinois.

I had lived in D.C. for the first 7 years of my life. I was sad but excited to move to Park Ridge.
  • Moving again (Michigan)

My dad had gotten another job offer. At the end of 3rd grade, we repeated what we did a year and a half ago.
  • First day of school... in Michigan.

I was heading into 4th grade. When we got back from summer vacation, I was in school a week later.
  • First day of 5th grade.

My 4th-grade year was not exactly the best. I was hoping for an opportunity of redemption this year.
  • First day of Middle School.

Going into 6th grade... I didn’t know what to expect. But let me just say this, it was nowhere near the same as what I thought it would be.
  • Summer Vacation 2018.

    Summer Vacation 2018.

I usually go to France for the whole summer to stay with my grandparents. This time I only went for 3 weeks because I went to a summer camp that year as well.
  • Seventh-grade, I knew what to expect this time.

Seventh-grade was different for me though, I was a straight “A” student. Also, I tried out for the Basketball team. Long story short, I suck at Basketball.
  • Quarantine

During 2020, a lot of bad things happened. Kobe Bryant and Chadwick Boseman died, there were wildfires in Australia, there was (and still is) a pandemic, we had to do online school for the rest of 7th grade because we were on lockdown, etc.
  • COVID-19, the world is infected.

    COVID-19, the world is infected.

Near spring break, the coronavirus hit the States. Before long, Michigan received its first case.
  • First day of 8th grade.

We are still in a pandemic because of our idiotic President and his lies. I am starting my first day of school on my computer.
  • The Presidential Election 2020.

The race is on. Will my rights be taken away? Will Joe Biden actually make America great again? In my personal opinion, if Trump wins, we're staying in France.
