This is the day I was born. I was born in a hospital in Royal Oak. The hospital was called Beaumont and is still there today. I was born at 12:23 AM. It was a long day for the family.
  • My Baptism

    My Baptism

I was Baptized at St. Trinity Lutheran Church in Clarkston, Michigan. I was with my family, and my pastor baptized me. We aren't members anymore as we are members at St. John Rochester. St. Trinity is still around today, and I hope to return soon. They still preach to the community where my faith journey began.

    Pre-school

My first day of preschool. I did not go to a regular school for preschool. I went to school at a church called St. Trinity Lutheran in Clarkston. I started when I was about three years old. I remember having a lot of fun and meeting great friends.
  • Snowball

    Snowball

Snowball was my family's first pet. She is a dog that we got for Christmas. I remember going to somebody's house and getting her. At first, when we got her, she was very sick. She was in the hospital for a couple of days.
  • Chicago Freak out

    Chicago Freak out

The Chicago freak out was a nightmare for my parents. We were all walking around downtown Chicago, and my parents split up to do their own things with my cousins. My mother said that I was supposed to go with my dad. The bad thing about that is my dad has already left. I was left alone in the middle of downtown Chicago. My parents meant up later, finally realizing that I wasn't there. They somehow found me standing next to a police officer 3 hours later.

    First day at St. John

My first day at St John was Kindergarten. I went to school for half a day instead of a full day like the other class. My teacher's name was Miss Cook, who is still one of my favorite teachers. I still go to school with some of my classmates from my kindergarten class. It was crazy for me at the time to go and not no anyone.

    Schooling at St. John

St John Lutheran Church and school are located in Rochester, Michigan. It was home to me for many years. I went to school there from kindergarten to 8th grade. I have had many different teachers and friends through the years there. I have learned a lot of important life lessons.
  • My first baseball team

    My first baseball team

My first baseball team did not have a real name. A coffee shop sponsored the team and put their logos on our jerseys. I used a glove that was a tee-ball glove from a kit from Comerica Park. My coach was my friend's dad, who I would play with many years after. I remember I was pretty good and got a home run my first at-bat.

    Schuss Mountain

Schuss mountain was a place that was very special to my family and me. We had a condo there for about ten years. During the winter, we would go up every weekend and ski. We had a lot of fun doing this every year. We would also go up in the summer once or twice and visit Petoskey to see Lake Michigan.
  • First time skiing

    First time skiing

My first time skiing was with my family. We were all at Boyne Mountian, and at first, I was not too fond of it. My dad would be behind me, holding a rope I was tied to. I fell a lot, but in the end, I enjoyed it. I would ski for 15 years after that first day.
  • Wake surfing

    Wake surfing

My family and I like to wake surf. Wake surfing is when you surf behind a speed boat. We have been doing it for a couple of years, and all enjoy it. I have gotten pretty good at it to do 360s and carve. I hope to keep surfing for a long time.
  • Moving day

    Moving day

The day my family and I moved. We decided as a family that our house was getting too small, and we needed something different. We, at first, were going to add on above the garage to have two more bedrooms. We decided not to because one day, out of the blue, our neighbor talked about how she would move this spring, and if we wanted to buy the house, we could. We decided to move everything and go next door.
  • 8th grade graduation

    8th grade graduation

I will never forget 8th-grade graduation. It had been a very long year grinding out to the very end. My friends and I were all sitting right next to each other, waiting for our names to be called so we could walk across that floor and never look back. I felt like part of my life was complete as I shook my principles hand and looked at all the people watching. I sometimes miss the fun I had in 8th grade and wish I could go back.
  • First day of high school

    First day of high school

A lot was running through my mind that day as I started a new journey in my life. I didn't know many people in my class except those who went to school with me at St.John. Part of me was worried that I wouldn't make it through high school. It was a big plus going there when my brother was a senior as it helped me be confident. As I look back on it today, I can say that it was better than I thought back then.

    LHNW

Lutheran High School Northwest is where I am going to high school. It is a place where I have learned a lot about engineering and leadership. I have made many memories and friends. They are located in Rochester, Michigan. Our mascot is the Crusaders, and we show our pride.
  • My first drive

    My first drive

It was a big day for me. It is when I was able to get my license. I was so happy to be able to drive myself. It felt crazy that I was at that age already. On my first drive, I drove to one of my buddy's houses, and we went around town blaring music all night.
  • Snowboarding

    Snowboarding

After skiing for 15 years, I decided to try something different. I was with my friends at PineKnob. They were all beginners, so I didn't want to be the one singled out. That was when I thought I should learn with them. After the second day of snowboarding, I loved it, and I have not looked back since.
  • Basketball

    Basketball

My last time was playing basketball competitively. It was for my school's JV Basketball team. We had a great run that year under Coach Rob. We only lost two games, which we could have won easily. I miss playing the sport and might get back to it one day.

    LHNW Baseball

Last season was an excellent season for the varsity boys baseball. We played a lot of hard teams and ended up coming out five games above 500. We did a lot through the season, playing with only juniors and sophomores. We ended up playing hard and winning our conference. We also went to district finals, sadly losing to shrine, though.
  • Scotch

    Scotch

Scotch is our family's second dog. We were hesitant at first about getting another dog. We finally persuaded my dad, who didn't want one. We picked Scotch up from one of our old school friends. When I first saw him. He was no bigger than my hand.
