  • Infancy

    When I was 10 months old I started to try and walk. At first it did not work so well. One day i tried walking down a step and I fell and hurt my leg. I was beginning to learn the ways in which my body moved. Piaget's Sensorimotor Stage
  • Misbehaved Kid

    When I was an 3 year old I dropped my mothers favorite cup and it broke, I pretended it was my brother who broke it . I did this because I did not want to get in trouble. At this age I had no sense of right and wrong only a sense of reward and punishment. Kohlerg's Level 1 Preconventional Mortality
  • School Starts

    At age 5 I started school, and for the first time I was being taught information for my future. I started to observe the people around me and starting wanting to be other people, becoming envious. This was when I first started to be able to look at life from other peoples views.   • I start thinking logically

    Soon after I turned 8 I was playing and my ball got caught in a tree. Instead of just shaking the tree lie I had done in the past, I tried to think more logically. I got a big stick and hit the ball out of the tree and it came out much faster. This is the first time I had used logic instead of just brute force. Piaget Concrete Operational Stage
  • Rule Keeper

    In my sophomore year of High School some of my friends told me they were going to ditch class. They asked me to join. Although I disliked the class and did not want to go, I knew that I needed to go and it would be rude and childish of me to not go. I told my friends this and many of them agreed I was right and came back to class with me. Kohlberg's Conventional Mortality
  • A Philosophical Debate

    A few weeks before my 17th birthday I agreed to read a paper my dad was writing. The paper centered around a philosophical debate over weather or not someone who was given an incentive to change could do so in a non corrupt way. This was the first time I had been consciously aware of thinking logically about an abstract idea. Piaget Formal Operational Stage
  • After College

    After I graduate college, I want to go to back to school to get a masters degree. I want to become a practicing psychologist. I used to want to go into a career that would be more lucrative, but I realized that as a therapist I could help more people, and change peoples lives. Kohlberg's Post conventional Mortality
  • First home

    I feel in love with my partner when I was 24. We met in school and have been dating ever since. One day I am going to ask her to marry me. Unlike all my previous relationships I was able to open up to her and be myself more. That is why we just bought a home together, I feel I can trust her completely both emotionally and physically Erickson Intimacy vs. isolation
  • Wedding Bells

    The day I got married we asked for one gift from everyone who attended the wedding. My partner and I agreed that for the first time in our lives we were in a stable position whee we could have kids and start to help others. We asked everyone in attendance to donate any money they could spare to a charity of their choice. This was the first time in my adult life I had been able to return the help that people had given to me in my time of need. Erickson Generativity vs. Stagnation
  • Death Bed

    At the age of 91 I am lying on my death bed. I realize as I am taking my last breaths, how beautiful my life has been. I had two amazing children, who will live on long after I die. I married an amazing women who grew old with me, and was with me till her dying breath. I helped so many people, and got to meet so many wonderful humans.
