First Born
The day I was born is a significant event because I wouldn't know as much if anything if I was not born. Every year I get older it makes me realize that I am becoming more mature mentally, Physically and emotionally. each year proves to me that I am able to accomplish any goal I put my mind to. even though there are up's and down's all through out life; it is worth all the hassles. -
Little brother was born
The birth of my little brother Derrick had its positive and negative feelings, however there was more positive feelings. The main negative feeling was that I was not going to be the only child anymore and it didn't last long at all. The dominate positive feeling that occurred was even though we are eleven months apart I still have to look after him and show him the way of life. -
My little sister was born
When my youngest sister took her first breath it proved to me that she will tend to look up to me because I am the oldest of all her siblings. Even though I will not be able to help her with certain girl things I would try my best if needed. I also knew that I now have two sister to help when they are having boyfriend issues. -
My little brother Justin was born
When the youngest of my siblings Justin was born was a tremendous life changing moment. I knew right away that he was going to try and follow my footsteps, however I was not going to let that happen. I would do anything for him, no matter what the consequences are. -
Fresh Start; New State
I truly didn't understand why I had to leave Chicago and start a new chapter in Arizona. I just knew that it was best for my family and I. Soon after moving to Arizona I realized that it may not be the exact place I want to be at this point in life, but I might as well make the best of it. -
Moved out on my own
I moved out on my own because I was getting fed up with my mom always nagging at me. It was defiantly a rocky part of my life and did fall down. Even though I moved out my mom still let me come back when I fell down and is trying to help me get back on my feet. -
Became an Uncle
When I became an Uncle I was very excited and determined to make he the best that he can be in life. My sister is a young mother, so I knew that I had to step up to the plate and be a positive role model to him and my little sister. I didn't have the best life growing up, but i am going to try and make him have a better life then I had. -
Became a Walmart Associate
Getting a job at Walmart was a major step forward in my life. I knew from the beginning that becoming an adult was not going to be easy and once I was hired and started working, that concept became even more clear to me. i also realized that at the end of the day I need to do what is best for me and not completely worry about others. -
Moved into a new house
My family and I moved from our house near Willow Canyon because our lease was up and my mom wanted to get out of that neighborhood so that we can start to adventure off and meet new people and experience the positives that life can bring us. I was slightly upset when I was informed, however I understood where my mom was coming from. I also then realized even more that everything in life happens for a reason whether we agree with it or not. -
Recieved a raise at Walmart
The most recent significant event that has occurred in my life is getting my annual raise at my job. The highest raise possible in a year is 50 cents and I received a 40 cent raise. My manager complemented me by saying that I am the quickest at throwing the truck and sending items down the line.
