    Having my Tonsils Removed

This was my first surgery. I had to get my tonsils removed because it was effecting my breathing and sleeping. The procedure took less than an hour. I don't remember most of this because I was only 2. The only thing that I remember is that I could only eat popsicles for days.
  • Breaking My Arm

    Breaking My Arm

This was a week after I had my tonsils removed. I was lying on the floor and my older sister tripped and landed on my left arm. She broke it in two places and I had to go to the ER. But it was okay because I got to pick out a pink cast. I was so obsessed with it that I would't let anyone sign it! A couple of weeks later it got taken off.

  • Getting My Cats

    Getting My Cats

About a year before we got our previous cats my family had two other cats. However, they got sick. We decided it would be best to put them down. A little while later our aunt told us about this lady who just got a bunch of kittens. We decided to get two. Their names are Rocky and Sophie.
  • Being Baptized

My father is baptist so he didn't want my sisters or I to be baptized as babies. He thought that it was important to let us decide when we want to be baptized. I'm glad that he did because I was able to understand it better and it made the process of baptism a lot more special. On July 5, 2015 I, along with my sister Olivia, was baptized. At the moment, my younger sister isn't baptized but she is planning to be baptized on the same day this upcoming year.
  • Moving

    Moving

A few months later my family moved. At the time I was very upset and didn't want to move. Later on though, I grew to love my new house and realized that it was a lot better than our old house. We moved in relatively quickly and adjusted well too. We have been in this house for 5 years and we love it!
  • My Aunt's Wedding

You may think that a wedding isn't that big of a deal in my life but this one was. My aunt Frankie and her boyfriend had been dating for 12 years and we were very excited for the wedding. My sisters were bridesmaids and we had so much fun! She looked beautiful and we had a great time at her wedding.

    Washington D.C.

Last year for my class trip we visited Washington D.C.. It was so much fun and we saw some great sights. We had to do a project along with it where we had to pick one of the monuments there and write a report. So my favorite part was seeing all of the monuments that we all learned about. We were gone for only three days but we were still able to see so many different things.
  • Confirmation

At my church you have to go through a two year confirmation class before you can be confirmed. You learn about all of the different parts of the Bible and Catechism. This is normally through 7th and 8th grade then you get confirmed as you graduate. So on May 5, 2019 I was confirmed into Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. I was also allowed to take Communion as well.

I graduated from middle school on June 6, 2019. We have a ceremony and then a party after. Speeches are made at the ceremony and then scholarships are given out. During the party, food is served and we take pictures with our classmates and family members. Then finally there was a slideshow for all of the people that were in my class.

Camp Arcadia is a Christian camp that is in Arcadia, Michigan. You go for a week and you do a bunch of different activities. This was my first year going and it was a blast! I met a lot of new people and it was fun hanging out with my friends that would soon be going to different high schools. I will hopefully be going again next year too!

    Boston

A little while after going to camp at Arcadia my family and I took a trip to the east side of the country. We went to many different places but Boston was probably my favorite. There are so many different things to do there and it is such a beautiful place to be. I have already talked about my trip on a previous project but I enjoyed it so much that I had to bring it back up again. You can go to Fenway Park, go to a museum, take a tour of the city, and many more things.

    Maine

Right after going to Boston I went to Maine. I stayed in Bar Harbor and York Beach. Maine was beautiful! That was also the first time that I swam in the ocean. Maine is very peaceful. You can go on a hike, a bike ride, or go on boat.
  • My Great Grandma's Death

    My Great Grandma's Death

I was very close to my great grandma. My grandpa and grandma both died before I was born so my great grandma was basically like my grandma. She was a fighter and it was very hard for us to finally have to admit her into hospice. She died on July 24, 2019. She was 94 years old.
  • First Day of High School

    First Day of High School

To be honest I don't remember much about my first day at LHNW. I just remember liking it a lot and wanting to come back. I obviously didn't know as many people as I do know but it was nice getting to meet different people. I started volleyball that day too so I enjoyed it very much.
