My grandpa took me to Hawkeye Downs, where they had a special event when you got to learn and see the dinosaurs!

I started school at Cleveland Elementary. My teacher was Mrs. Kira, and she was the best!

For my birthday, my memaw and mama had gotten me a pink Nintendo DSi system with a Tinker Bell game. Ok, listen, I was 6, and the Nintendo Switch and the Playstation 5 or the Xbox One didn't exist yet. Back then, I settled for the small duel-screen of the Nintendo DSi.

Ok listen, my hair used to be like, maybe 2 feet long, give or take a few inches. Well, the day before 4th Grade started, I finally agreed to cut it off, not all the way, but where it was in the "manageable" range.

So, 5th Grade is supposed to be awesome, right? Well, for me, it wasn't. 2 days into Spring Break, COVID shut down everything. Worst year ever! :( :( :(

Well, COVID had me stuck at home for school. Well, my second day of school was actually my first because they messed up my schedule and I had none of the Google Meet codes.

Ok, so I had a Nintendo DSi, so would think that I would be fine with just that one device, well I wasn't. I wanted at least the Nintendo Switch so I could play some new, cooler games. Well, my wish came true. On Christmas Day, some of my presents were numbered, and my memaw wanted me to open them last. Well, the first one was the Nintendo Switch system that you hook to your TV! That night I played A LOT of Lego Harry Potter.
