Where It All Began
I was born on July 2nd, 2004 in Calgary, Canada, making me the fifth and youngest sibling. -
The New Beginning
I moved to Saudi Arabia from Canada because of my dad’s job, I really can't remember how I felt about moving to a new country. -
School
I started preschool in DEMS in Saudi Arabia when I was four years old. I was really introverted when I was younger, so I didn't have any friends, but when I moved to Saudi, I met my first and best friend, Sally. -
Bahrain
This was my first time coming to Bahrain. I remember feeling very excited cause Bahrain was the first place that I was able to watch a movie in the cinema. -
Starting Over
I moved to Bahrain from Saudi Arabia. I then moved to Riffa Views. Around this time I didn't really care about moving because there wasn't much I was leaving behind and I wanted to start over. -
SHGS
I started school in Shaikha Hessa, where I met one of my best friends, Huda. I only stayed for a year, but that was a nice memory to keep, -
Ireland
I traveled to Ireland for the summer for sightseeing and I have family there as well. It was one of the best summers I ever had, mostly my cousin’s dog, Caesar, was the best part about it. We went to Glendalough, Guinness Lake, the mountains and a lot more. The nature there was really refreshing and calm. -
Do I Look Weird?
I decided to start wearing the hijab. At first I was very nervous and thought people wouldn’t like me for it, but after a while I had gotten used to it and I don't really care about what others think anymore. -
RVIS
SHIGS was perhaps one of the worst schools I have been to, so I decided to transfer to RVIS. At first I was really shy and would hardly talk to anyone, but after a week or so I started to get along with the other girls. During October, Huda had told me she was leaving SHGS and coming to RVIS, so that was another good thing that happened. -
Welcome to the Family, Hazel
I got my first pet cat, Hazel, and he completely changed my life. When we first got him, he was only about one or two weeks old, so he was big enough to fit in the palm of your hand. I've had great memories throughout my life, and Hazel was one of them. RIP Hazel. -
Formula One
Taliah had taken me to Formula One, and it was one of the funnest nights ever. We watched the race together and I was able to go to my first concert, Avicii's concert, all thanks to Taliah. Thank Taliah -
My Grandmother, Shareefa Saleh Ammair
I lost one of the most important people in my life, my grandmother, Shareefa. She had been fighting countless sicknesses, had endured many needles and medications, and yet everyday she kept a smile on her face. She will always have a place in my heart and I will never forget the things she has done for me. At the age of 86, her journey of life came to an end, but hopefully she is free from all the suffering.
