    Haylee's Timeline

  • Baby Brother was born

My brother has changed my life because I feel like if he wasn't around I would have been raised very differently. My parents would probably be a lot more strict and I would probably be more spoiled.
  • My parents divorce

When my parents got divorced I had to be strong, I had to be there for my younger brother and take care of him. It made me a stronger person. My father was an alcoholic and drug addict, seeing what his life is like and how it effects others and him made me have a different mindset than others do when it comes to alcohol or drugs. I want to be a better person than he is.
  • My dad going to prison

Not being able to see my dad for the past 6 years has changed my life because it gave me morals and goals for myself. To be a better person than he was, and not to get caught up in stupid stuff like drugs. I think him not being around is for the best because he isnt a good person
  • Giving my life to Christ

I started going to church when I was 9 years old and loved it. I began to understand things and decided I wanted to give my life to Christ and become a part of His family. I go to second baptist church now and am very invloved in the youth. My churhc is my family and I have a very close relationship with the Lord.
  • Dazzlers

I made the dazzler dance team and it has changed my life. Dance is my passion and I could not live without it.
  • Meeting my best friend

My best friends name is Caitlyn, she lives in Roanoke, Virginia. Having her in my life has really shaped me into the person I am today because she is always there to help me out and give me advice. I am a very positive person, with tons of self love, but before her I did not have that.
  • My first love

I learned a lot from my first relationship. I made a ton of great memories and this relationship really changed me. It changed me into who I am because it made me realize I can't love anyone else fully until I love myself. Also, that I can't count on anyone else for my happiness, I have to be an independent person.
  • Winning State

Winning the state football championship, even though I don't play football, I just cheer on the sidelines, will probably be one of the most memorable moments of my high school years. From this, I learned to cherish every moment because I'm not going to be young forever. I don't take people or things for granted anymore like I did before.
  • My first heartbreak

I dated this boy for over nine months, and I was so attatched to him. But our breakup made me realize my self worth, and made me realize the kind of person I deserve.
