I went out of the country for the first time!
This was such an exciting time! I was so excited to leave the country for the very first time. I went to Mexico on a vacation with my family and everyone that my mom works with, and their families! We went to Rivera Maya, Mexico. While I was there, I did get sun poisoning from the hot sun, but the rest of the time was a blast. We went snorkeling, swam through a cave, went to a couple different shows, and spent a lot of time on the beach!
  • I met my boyfriend!

  • Went to the state championship to compete in volleyball!

Went to the state championship to compete in volleyball!
This is my favorite high school memory. I was from a small school, and we didn't have one girl on the team that was over 5'8, so a lot of people underestimated our team. We proved them wrong after winning a 5 set match to send us to the state finals. The state finals were at the Nutter Center in Dayton.
  • Graduated high school!

    Graduated high school!
High School was my favorite! I made so many memories with so many friends that will last a lifetime. Graduation day was a very emotional day!

    Started college
I decided half way through my senior year of high school that Shawnee State was the college I was going to attend and I do not regret that decision at all! The professors I have had, have been amazing and really care about my success. You can't find that at every school!
  • Enrolled in Teach Phonics

    Enrolled in Teach Phonics
Phonics and Phonemic awareness is so important is a child's education. Students need to have a great understanding of spelling, vocabulary and much more. From this course hope to develop a better understanding of phonics myself and also more on how to give phonic instruction to my future students.
