Elementary School
I wen to SiRen elementary school in China. One year later i moved to Chun Ming elementary school because my father chaged jobs. -
Middfle School
I went to Si Chong middle schhol. I had a really good teacher during my three years of middle school. -
Teacher college
I went to LiNing StateTeacher College for elementary school teacers. It was a four year program. The first couple of years focused on high school courses. The second couple of years focused on teaching courses. It is a little differnt compared to the system we have right now. -
Starting my teavhing career
I taught kindergarden aged children for nine years in China. I loved teaching them! I never thought I would do anything else. -
Married
I married with my husband in 1993, At that time his whole family already immigrated to U.S. -
Move to U.S
After we married, I quit my job and followed my husband moved to U.S which was an important decision for me in my life. -
Stay at home mom.
My doughter was born in 1997 and my son was born in 2000. I had to stay home with my children from 1997 -2002. -
back to school in U.S.
I spoke very little English so I decided to go back to school and took some ESL classes. -
my first permenent job
I was hired by Scottsdale college as a preschool teacher in the Preschool Enrichment Center in 2006 because of my teaching degree from China. I also finished quite an amount of early childhood classes at Scc college. -
preschool teacher at Mesa communoty college
I transferred to Mesa College because they needed a teacher for the preschool center there. -
currently
I worked as a preschhol teacher until now at Mesa Community College. I have worked with children for 16 years in both China and America. I know this is the job for me and I will continue until i retire.
