I was born on October 13th, 2003 at 6:09 P.M. weighing 5lbs 12oz. I was the tiniest baby my family had ever seen. It was Columbus Day and even though I don't remember anything from that day I heard that both my sisters were jumping up and down in the waiting room with excitement dying to meet me. If you ask them today sometimes they'll say they wish I was never born. But besides that, this was the day that started the roller coaster ride I call my life.

3 months after my birth I began my journey in the Catholic Faith. I have my God Parents and the rest of my famly to guide me. To many people, this might not be a big deal but little did I know that this was going to be a huge part of my life. Growing up in a very religious home has taught me so many things I never knew. Even though I may put up a fight when it comes to waking up early on Sundays for Church it is all worth it.

I was 1 when I was brought into this craziness. Throughout the years my family has argued a lot of topics, and when I say a lot I mean a ridiculous amount. One thing we never fight about is football. When it comes to the Giardina's you either like the Steelers or we won't get along. Football Sundays are what brings us all together yelling at the TV, running around the house, not moving from our "lucky" spots during a game. No matter how bad they do I will always be a Steeler girl.

I consider Wildwood, Nj my home away from home. My family has gone there every summer even way before I was born. 2007 was the first trip to Wildwood that I fully remember. Wildwood has brought so many wonderful memories for me and my family to cherish forever. Wildwood is where I first learned to swim, boogie board, went on my first rollercoaster, and much more. Wildwood is one thing I look forward to every year. It is a very special place where I hope I can take my kids one day.

As a hardcore Italian, this was the most important day of my life. Little did I know that making sauce from scratch was so much work. My mom thought that is was time for me to learn so we spent all day in the kitchen making sauce batch after batch until we made enough that should last a whole decade but in reality only lasted us about 6 months. It was really fun getting to learn more about my family's recipes and learning things I will be able to teach my kids one day.

It was the most beautiful day. I remember coming home from school, no homework, and my mom was on her way to Pennsylvania so I had the rest of the day to chill with my sister. We were in the kitchen messing around, little did we know that a tornado was about to happen. When our power went out, we looked outside and saw things blowing around. We hear a huge crash outside and this point, we are starting to panic. My sister told me to grab the dog and get in the basement. Scariest day of my life.

Ever since I was little I always had an interest in hair and makeup. Staying up for hours at night watching beauty videos until I fell asleep with my phone in my hand. We had a wedding to attend and instead of paying money to get her hair done my sister believed in me enough to let me style her hair. I was so surprised in the finished product but that led me to realize that, that is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I started the Cosmetology program in Boces and I've never been happier.

Trip to Cancun for my dads 50th Birthday! Sounds fun right, for the most part, it was except for when the airport lost our luggage and we were stuck with basically nothing for 3 days. But wait that's the not worst part! The 2nd day we were there I got tonsilitis so we had to go find a doctor to get me medicine, eventually, we found one and I got the meds I needed. As if that wasn't enough the 4th day of this great vacation I got stung by a jellyfish. At that point, I just wanted to go home.

For 15 years of my life, I was always used to having both of my older sisters around. Well, that changed quickly. My oldest sister Deanna had just graduated college and found a full-time job so she ended up moving to New Jersey. My other older sister Julia was just about to start college 3 1/2 hours away. That left me in the house alone. I never realized how hard it was going to hit until they were actually gone. Now every time we are together I cherish those moments even more.

When I was 4 we adopted our first dog. I remember the day we brought her home it was the happiest I have ever been, she immediately became my best friend. Having her for 11 years was such a blessing as she was there for everything in my life. She was the best dog I could have ever asked for. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. On October 11th, 2 days before my birthday I got the call saying we had to put her down. My heart was broken but I knew my baby girl was in a better place.

Believe it or not, my Sweet 16 was the first official birthday party I ever had. Growing up both my sisters always had birthday parties but when it came to me I would always rather spend my birthday at home with my family. When it came to my Sweet 16 my parents insisted on throwing me a party and although I wasn't completely on board at first it ended up being one of the best nights of my life that I get to cherish forever. Nothing was better than getting to celebrate with my friends and family.
