The First 2 Years
Biosocial: I got pneumonia two weeks after I was born
Cognitive: My first word was “Mama"
Psychosocial: I had a lot of separation anxiety and it was difficult, or nearly impossible, to get me to go with anyone other than my mom -
Play Years
Biosocial: Started taking ballet and tap dancing classes.
Cognitive: Began preschool
Psychosocial: Played with dolls and barbies a lot with my sister and we would not let my brother play with us because it was only for girls. -
School Years
Biosocial: Started playing soccer
Cognitive: Found out I needed glasses because I couldn’t see the board in class and I would spell the spelling words incorrectly because of it.
Psychosocial: We moved and I had to change schools. I did not know anyone at my new school. -
Adolescence
Biosocial: Tore ACL playing soccer. -
Adolescence
Cognitive: Started middle school after being homeschooled for a year. Going back into public schools, a new school, and after not being in school for a year I had a lack of friends.
Psychosocial: Very involved in church youth group. Began forming a religious identity. -
Emerging Adulthood
Biosocial: reached maximum height at age 16, 5’10”. -
Emerging Adulthood
Cognitive: Graduated from high school and started college in 2007.
Psychosocial: Played soccer at Central Michigan University and began building new friendships being a part of a team and starting college at a new school. -
Adulthood
Biosocial: Finished playing collegiate soccer, but still maintain a daily exercise routine. -
Adulthood
Cognitive: Trying to get into nursing school. -
Adulthood
Psychosocial: Began working full time at a health and wellness facility. -
Late Adulthood
Biosocial-Healthy body and organs.
Cognitive-High functioning, alert brain.
Psychosocial-Retired and putting in a lot of hours volunteering to stay involved. Possibly involved in missionary work. I also hope to have many friends and family around to spend time with. -
Death and Dying
I hope to die peacefully in my old age.
