I was born.
I was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It was a hot day because Sri Lanka's always warm. I was born in Asiri Hospital. It was at night so it was kind of chilly. My mom said she was really happy having! -
My first vacation!
I was 9 months old when I went on my first vacation. It was to Mathale,Sri Lanka. I went to visit my grandmother and my mothers-fathers-brother! Also that day I remember hiting my mom with a tea cup (plastic) on the eye because I was mad at her for leaving me alone. It was really fun, all my cousins went on this trip. -
My first trip abroad!
My first trip was to London,England! It was snowing their so it was very cold! I went to visit my aunt and her daughter. Also we went to see Big Ben! It was fun we had snnowball fights and then we made a snow fort. Then we had to go back to Sri Lanka because I already missed a month and half off school! -
My vacation to Canada.
It was the summer in Canda. It was really warm and sunny. I met new cousis and some new friends. I kind of slept half way through the whole trip. I went to CN tower and Niagara Falls. When it's day here it's night time in Sri Lanka. So I was sleeping when it was day.I stayed here for 3 weeks because we had a weding. I was mostly around New Market because that's where my dad's cousin lives. I had a lot of fun here. -
My dog!
My dog is a german shepherd and his name is Froxcy. He is a really cool dog. He know how to play hide and seek.Also he can swallow a tennis ball but we tell him not too. When we got him he was new born and he was really tiny. Then he got older and he got stronger. He was about 4 when I left Sri Lanka and I miss him so much. He is really funny because when he starts running he can't stop. We got him to protect our house but know he doesn't protect it, we protect him. He's really cool! -
My first day in pre-school!
My first school was called Tiny Tots. I was in pre-school.It was a sunny day like always and I couldn't wait to start school. I always saw my brother do homework so I always a lot of homework but they never gave any. All the teachers were really fun and funny! They weren't mean at all. They gave us treats and made us go to sleep. I loved it until school was over I was happy that I was going home but I was sad I was leaving school! Well that was my first day and I couldn't wait for the next one! -
My first time riding a bike!
I was 4 years old when I got my first bike. It was red and it had stikers on it of little rabits. I use to hit the trees and go over plants. Then finally my brother taught me how to ride a bike, he told me he would hold on and he lied. He let go of me and I hit a tree because he forgot to tell me how to brake! It took me a couple of times but I did it. I love riding my bike the wind in my hair, the bugs that go in my mouth when I forget to close my mouth when I go really fast! Biking is awesome. -
When I broke my hand!
It was at night when I broke my hand. It was 2 months before my birthday. I was galloping down the stairs like a horse when I tripped and fell on my elbow. I went to my aunt because I could feel my hand vibrating. Then she starts crying and she calls out everybody, they all come rushing down. I was wondering what happened. Then I was taken to a hospital called Apoll Hospital. Then I figured out my hand was broken. My hand was one a sling around my neck! I didn't go to school for 1 month. -
Gateway College!
It was a nice and breezy day outside and I started crying,I moved from Tiny Tots to a new school called Gateway College. I was going to kindergarden it was really fun and I made new friends. The teachers their were really strict and they would hit you if you didn't behave. They might be strict but they teach really well. They also were really helpful and nice when you are good! My new friends were nice and kind to me.We would start colouring or do math. I was having a good day, -
I moved to Canada!
I came to Canada with my parents, and my brother! We came here because their was too much war in Sri Lanka. It was hard leaving my old house because I know I won't come back in a long time. As soon as we came here my dad's cousin invited us to his house for a couple of weeks. Then we had help from my dad's friends to find a house and get jobs for my parents. First we lived in a basement then we moved to a big house close to my school and my brothers. We are starting to seetle in! -
The first school I went to in Canada.
The first I came to Canada I went to a school called McKinnon Public School. I went, when it was close to the summer. I met a friend that was in my class that is really nice and she's still my best friend. I had a really nice teacher who was my grade 3 teacher. The school was really cool and they included me. I went to that school until grade 5.The teachers were nice and fun. I miss that school because I met my friends their. -
RTMS!
I was in grade 6 when I came to RTMS. The teachers here are really funny and wonderful. The principal and vice-principal are amazing. Also the other people that help run the school are really cool. Their are so many activities and they give a great education. I am so glad I came to RTMS. I am going to be so sad when I leave RTMS when I graduate from grade 8. The students here are so nice and inclusive. I love RTMS! -
