My Learning Timeline

  • I was born this day!

    I was born this day!
The only thing I remembed in my childhood is playing. I palyed in the field, in the forest, in the river. I played with chicken, pigs, ducks, and rabbits. I touched the nature, felt the breeze, and ran in the rain. This is how I learned the universe, the world without human realationship involed. As someone said, nature is the best teacher in the world. From it, I learned the beauty.

  • First day of my formal schooling

First day of my formal schooling
I registered my preschool one year earlier than my peers because all my playmates went to school except me. I was so eager to go to school either. I pleased mom to register for me too. Compare to someone else who cried for the first day at school, I followed my teacher's steps all the time. I was at the age of curiosity and had strong passion of learning.

My elememtary school starts from here
This is my favorite magazine during my whole elementary school. I remembered on the back of the magazine, it said, "suitable from 1 - 99". I thought I would read it even at my 99. However, this magazine can no longer attract my adult brain which makes it a sad story.
  • My grandfater died

    My grandfater died
I had a heartbreak when he stopped breathing. That was my first time to know that people would die at last. Death is inevitable. I used two years to get used to the life wihout my grandfather at home waiting for me. That was the first time I know that how helpless we are in front of death. That was the first time I know the precious of living life.
  • I failed my college entrance exam

I failed my college entrance exam
I failed my college entrance exam and went to a college I don't like at all. I saw myself as a loser. After that, I have lower self-esteem, self-confidence. As well, I learned how to handel my failure even though not that successfully. I also learned no pains, no gains.
  • I came to the US

    I came to the US
I arrived New York at the night time. I left my family 7124.46 Miles away, came here alone, and became an internationa student and foreigner formally. Here, I have learned how to survive from the homesick, from loneliness, from the whole new unfamiliar life, from cultural diversity, and from lower English proficiency.
  • heart broken

    heart broken
My relationship with my boyfriend ended after 5 months dating. He broke up with me without giving me any explanation and left me without saying goodbye. Almost at the same time, I found my "best friend" had never treated me as her friend. After that, I learned how to be independent, how to be alone.
  • My trip to Cancun, Mexico

    My trip to Cancun, Mexico
This trip was the biggest symbol of being independent because I travelled alone. I learned how big the world it is. I learned that how nice people are around me. I learned that how strong I am. I realized that how beautiful the nature is.
  • Life is bright and coloful

    Life is bright and coloful
I did volunteer job, part time teaching, and took classes in St Jon's University during the past half year. Every morning, I woke up at 7:30 am and came back at 11:00 pm. The more I involved myelf in this big community, the more happy I was. Condifence and happiness are back to my face again. During my volunteer and part time teaching, I learned two things. The first one is that the more you give, the more happiness you gain. The second thing is that I love teaching!
