My ink and I

  • Period: to

The life of an ink slinger.

This is a brief timeline of the tattoos that have come to define me.
  • My first tattoo.

    My first tattoo.
The was my first tattoo. I worked on the design for months with a friend of mine, to eventually get Jack Skellington looking back on my right calf. To me, this tattoo represented that hindsight is 20/20, and the start of my tattoo addiction.
  • What the duck...

    What the duck...
Later in 2008, I knew I wanted to get a tattoo, but I didn't know what. So, the day after Christmas, I woke up with my family in New York City, and while the started eating lunch, I left to get the vampire duck from Nightmare Before Christmas tattooed in between my shoulder blades.
  • Family ties.

    Family ties.
After moving to Statesboro and getting my new life together down here, I was able to afford to get this lovely piece of art on my inner arm. The jack o lantern represents me, and the snowflakes are my family, and the reason they're so big is because my entire family helps me get by.
  • Something up my sleeve.

    Something up my sleeve.
This was the first tattoo that took my tattoos out somewhere more visible, and the sign that is on either side of "Pray" is a symbol used to represent Catholics for years, and reminds me of the importance of prayer in my life.
  • All ya need is...

    All ya need is...
After a few weeks of being thrown off balance with only the one wrist done, I went into Americana Artworks and had the only thing ya ever need put inbetween two symbols that represent this word to me.
  • I mustache you a question.

    I mustache you a question.
This time around, not only was the tattoo for a good cause, but it was on my finger. This finger-stache tattoo is part of a local club I'm in called the Ivory Tower Tattoo Club, a charity set-up to help local families. Each time member pays the fifty or so dollars to get a tattoo in the extremely painful area, the money is donated to our organization.
  • The launch of ITMC

    The launch of ITMC
On this day, we officially launched the Ivory Tower Mustache club, with plenty of of ink slingin', soda drinkin', and tattoo lovin' fanfare.
  • What's dark and bright? Blacklight!

    What's dark and bright? Blacklight!
For this tattoo, a nod to the greatest series of all time, I chose blacklight ink instead of normal ink. What this means is after this tattoo is done healing, it will only be visible when placed under a blacklight, showing up a glowing color similar to the magic these words bring to mind.
  • The time is now

    The time is now
As my newest tattoo heals up, a fellow education major and I have already started on our next tattoo. We plan to get the ORIGINAL time turner, from the book, tattooed on our left forearms in UV ink. Why? Because, it's Harry Potter, that's why.

  • The birth of Nico

On this day, I was born in the small Northern New York town of Watertown, New York. Having been born far away from the Georgia land I was born for, I instantly began working to get down here.
