    Conflicts in Ireland
My name is Bjorn O'Farrell. I am 20 years old, own 5 acres of farmland and nearly 25% of it are potatoes. My crops were affected by the Potato Famine of 1845. I also protested about religious rights, which are beocoming a big issue in Ireland. As a punishment for my protesting, I was exiled from Ireland. I then thought to immigrate to America.

    Bjorn Immigrates to America
I immigrated to America a couple of years after I was exiled from Ireland. I am going to move West, because I hear the land is good for crops and it's for free. Several months later I lived in a slum where there are many tenements and i work for a man on a farm. I receive more money than other men that work at different farms, My daily wage is $5,

I am now 30 years of age, I own farmland and I can hire people to work with me. I own about 1.5 acres nearly 90% of it are vegetables and 10% are grains. The area of land I owned nearly doubled when I started hiring people. I now own 3 acres of land about 1 month later. I can sell my good, grown food at marketplaces where people can buy my food and I can earn money another way besides selling some of my land. I do get tired of farming, especially during droughts. I might join a mining company.

I now work at a mining company where I can receive a higher pay than just farming and then selling some of my grown food. The mining company mainly mines coal, minerals, and other types of useful resources. Some requirements are listed that the men have to be strong, and can afford their own tools like a pickaxe, a chisel, a hammer, and protection like a hat or helmet.

Bjorn Quits the Mining Job and Decides to Farm Again
I quit the mining job because I nearly got out of an explosion within the mine, which would open up more room. Although I did receive a higher wage than farming, I do like farming, especially during the droughts where it can provide a challenge for me but I can hire people to work alongside me. This also decreases the amount of hours I spend daily working hard on the crops.

    Bjorn Continues His Regular Life
My town is going through another drought, but crops are turning out better than I expected! Instead of 3 acres I bought 4 more acres so now I can grow more crops and earn more money. I do own a better house and it's right next to my crops. I also purchased a machine that reduces the time spent on mixing the soil so that I can grow more crops. It decreased the time I spend on it by at least 2 hours. I will probably sell all of my farmland and my house when I am at an old age.
