i was born in italy, on january 29th 1868. (1st child of 4) -
ellis island
i came to ellis island when i was 13 years old with my mom and dad. i am the oldest of 4 kids. -
Railroad
my father gets a job working on railroads and leaves home for monthes at a time leaving me my mother and my brothers and sisters. -
moms job at a clothing factory
my mother has to make money to prepare for me and my siblings, but soon enough i will have to get a job too. so my mother got me a job at the clothing factory with her. -
FIRE!!!!!!!
my mother was smoking as the was working and she flicked her ashes on the clothing and a fire started. people were jumping out the windows but my mom wasnt quick enogh, so she didnt make it. after that incident they made things more safe. -
dads death
my father died. he died while he was working on the roof of a tall building. he was reaching for a hammer and slipped. i guess things happen for a reason? -
taking care of 3
my mother and father had passed away and now i must take care of my brothers and sister. it was a handful considering we where living with 13 other people. -
discusting home
the home was terrible there where RATS everywhere eating the meat, that we had a limited amount of. and there was rat poop everywhere. how are people supposed to stop this. -
bad meat, dead brothers
the meat we were eating was bad and my 2 brothers have died from this discusting meat. hopfully me and my sister dont catch whatever my brothers have eaten. -
sisters death
my sister has died. she ate the meat that my brothers ate. i feel like everyone i love is dying. -
getting out of the home
i am finally 20 and i am leaveing the home. i met a man while living in ths home and we left together. we are now married. -

my husband died on our 4 year anniversy. -
suicide
i commited suicide. everyone i loved died. so it was my turn.
