Early Childhood
Right from the beginnning I was surrounded all kinds of technology. Tv, Computers and Radios were used around me constantly. As children we were introduced to these in school to help develop our learning as well as them being evident at home. -
Games Consoles
My first experience with games consoles was when my dad found his old Sega Mega-drive II and he showed my brother and I how to play it. We spent hours playing sonic the hedgehog together. As a family, we then went on to own a playstation 2 and now a wii and a x-box 360. -
MP3 Player
I got a Phillips MP3 player for Christmas one year and I took it absolutely everywhere with me until it broke a couple of years later. I have since had an iPod shuffle and and iPod touch. -
First Ever Phone
When I was 8, my granny gave me her old phone because she was upgrading to a new one. This was my first ever experience of having my own phone. I then went on to have a motarola razr and a samsung G600 before getting my first smartphone. -
Email Accounts
I made my first email account so that I could set up my MSN and then other social media accounts. Since then, I have made another personal account for my more important things like work and I have been provided with a student email address when i started University. -
The Beginning of me using Social Media
I first begun using social media when I made an MSN account. It was a way for all my friends to keep in touch without us having to pay for credit for our phones. I then went on to create a Bebo page and then a Facebook account. It was only about a year ago now that I created my Twitter and Instagram accounts. -
My own TV
After saving up some money and getting a little help from my parents, I managed to buy my own TV for my room. I got one that I could watch DVDs with too. -
First Smartphone
I got a Nokia C3 for christmas this year and it was my first experience with a smartphone and it allowed me to go on the internet without having to go on the family laptop. -
Laptop
I got my own laptop for taking down to university with me as I had always used the family laptop before this, -
Tablet
I bought a tablet for myself as it is smaller and more compact than a laptop and you can do almost everything you can on a laptop. I use it most for watching films on the bus when I travel home at weekends.
