My History

  • Parents Marriage

The day my mother and father began the beginning of my family.
  • Parents arrival to Canada

The day my parents packed all their belongings and said their goodbyes to loved ones to leave their home country, so they could pursue a life and an education in Canada and give a better life for their future children. This event has given me a better understanding of how grateful I should be with where my life is at right now.
  • Canadian Citizenship; Mom

The day my mom officially became a Canadian citizen after being a resident in Canada for 5 years. Which gave her the chance to receive better job opportunities with better income to support her future family. Once again, this event taught me to be thankful towards my mom for all her hard work and love.
  • Canadian Citizenship; Dad

The day my dad officially became a Canadian citizen after being a resident in Canada for 5 years. Which gave him the chance to receive better job opportunities with better income to support his future family. Once again, this event taught me to be thankful towards my dad for all his hard work and love.

The day my life begun and is the reason why my favourite number is 22.
  • First Day of Preschool

The day where I struggled to adjust to a community where Chinese wasn't the main language spoken. However, this experience forced me to learn and enhance my English ability and was essentially the beginning of my journey to learning English.

    Passion for Running

September 2012, was the day I joined cross country for the first time in grade four. From that day on I realised my passion for running. With this passion, I joined the cross country team and participated in track and field every year. This special skill of mine really helped boost my self esteem when I was younger because I had finally found something that I was actually good at.
  • First Day of Highschool

The day I realised that because I had been stuck in the same elementary school for 10 years with the same exact people I still didn't really know who I was. However, I also realised that high school was going to be a play big part of helping me figure it out.
  • Sister Leaving for University

The day my sister moved out of the house to a dormitory in a University. On this day, I realised the big responsibility role that my sister left for me once she moved. Because I was now the only child left in the family, I had to be the one who takes care of both my mom and dad.
