This was the moment that I began to realize what was going on in my surroundings and began to ask a lot of questions about the stuffs I saw on TV because I enjoy watching movies and cartoons, and of course, whether we like it or not, we will be watching ads for various goods and businesses such as fastfood chains, supermarkets, and so on when we are watching television.

When I was enrolled in a daycare, this was when I first started studying. I was taught how to read, write, draw, understand signs, do math, and so on during this period. This allowed me to pay more attention to my surroundings as I began to comprehend what was written on billboards, read newspapers as a pastime, and read ads on lampposts, among other things. -
When I was younger, I had a big crush on Andrea Brillantes; Actually, we have many clothing magazines featuring her as a model wearing various cute clothes and apparel, and whenever my father goes to work in Makati, I always insist on accompanying him because there are billboards featuring her, and I enjoy looking at them as we drive past them. -
My grandma gave me my first device, a phone, on my seventh birthday, but since wifi was not widely accessible at the time, I could only use it to play games and other things. Nevertheless, it encouraged me to eventually discover what the internet has to offer, and I became a computer addict. I frequent computer stores to play games, watch YouTube videos, and socialize on Friendster. That led to a number of occasions when I was exposed to advertisements in the browser. -
I was so young when I found social media that it wasn't the best time for me to be interested in it. -
I've never felt like I should avoid playing games, whether online or offline, since the first day I got into them. I just love the feeling I get when I'm playing a game I enjoy. And now, that thing hasn't changed. But, at the time, when I was playing those games, I didn't know how exposed I was to new media because, as I recall, there were multiple advertisements in all of the games I played.

At this point, social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram had become a thing for me, so I began to build profiles on these sites in order to keep up with what was going on in my life, as these social media networks act as a source of information for anyone who uses them. -
During this time, I began to learn more about the various applications of social media, and I began to use it to engage with those around me. -
People used social media to pass the time during the Covid-19-related quarantine, and I admit that I was one of them. -
When the quarantine is enforced, we will be unable to leave our homes, so I believe that watching movies and other forms of entertainment will keep me from being bored. As I was watching TV online, a slew of advertisements popped up on my phone, which was obvious because there were so many. YouTube is a prime example of this; advertisements are becoming a daily problem on YouTube because you see ads in every video you watch.

The continuation of the school year begins on this day, and the module that we will be using is through online learning, which makes social media a secure form of contact between students and teachers since we are isolated from one another and face-to-face classes are prohibited.
