I was first introduced to television when i was three years old, it was the time of discovery for me because I started to have thirst for knowledge and also the time where I became interested in watching cartoons, anime and knowledge channels. -
When I was six years old, a massive flood hit our barangay that last up to six months. Since we doesn't have electricity that time because of the flood, the only way to get information was to use battery radio. We relied on the radio for two months until the electricity came back. Radio was very crucial for us that time and I'm very grateful that it existed. -
Another flood struck to our barangay when I was seven years old, and besides listening radio and watching television to cure my boredom, I became interested in another thing and that is cell phone or mobile phone. It was very intriguing for me because it has many thing like calculator, flashlight, alarm, and most importantly, it has games. That was the time where I was introduced to mobile games and I loved it because I have something to entertain every time I get bored. -
DVD players also helped me to get rid of my boredom because there is still flood outside, so I can't go out. We use it to watch movies, cartoons, and documentaries. I also used it to listen songs and dances. In a time where we're forced to stay at home because of what's happening outside, don't be sad, instead use it to find more interesting thing that you can do inside the house because everything is temporary and everything will come to an end -
It was the time where I learned how to read, since I have sufficient knowledge about what am I reading and doesn't need to rely on others to ask them what are the definitions of some words everytime, I can read smoothly without any problems. I became very interested books specifically picture books, because it was easy to understand and have pictures so I can portray and imagine what is happening inside the story. I also learned some moral lessons that I can use in my everyday life. -
Since I learned how to read, I can also read newspaper now. When I was on my third grade, our teacher ask us to bring newspaper and that's how I was introduce to newspapers. Newspapers were not that interesting for me because it only contain news and articles until I found out that there are other things in the newspaper like puzzles and comics. I became interested in reading newspapers and after some time, I started to also read the other part and I admit that I learned many thing in newspaper. -
It started when my cousins take me to the computer shop, and in that time, I became addicted in using computer to play computer games. I only use computer solely on that purpose without knowing its full capability. After some time, I tried to investigate its functions and I learned that I can also use it for other things and up until know, I still have small information on computers and I'm willing to learn more if I have time. -
Because of a school project, my sister let me borrow her laptop. That was the first time I used is and I learned so many things from how it works to how it is very useful in many situations. Since it is portable unlike computer, we can move from place to place without having any problems at all. It also functions same as the computer but with battery and life .I managed to finished my project on time and passed it to my teacher
